I have used this place during the day while on TERT duty and it has been great. However, I have heard complaints from others that it is hard to sleep with the noise from people trying to catch the sunrise at Timp’s summit. This is a very popular trail.

This is a great campground always recommend going here to friends and family it’s close enough if you live in the salt lake valley and it has very nice campsites which are all very clean and have their own fire pits. This campsite has no rv hook ups but is a great place for tent camping. Only thing I would say is make sure you bring enough cash to pay for your campsite the cost is 31$ per night they do not take card

Took a semi-impromptu one night outing trip to the campground and it was great. The site was clean and the table and fire pit were in great condition. The camp host was friendly and checked in with us. The scenery is beautiful and the whole campground is well shaded. During our stay the running water was out so they had portable restrooms all around. They were clean, smelled nice, and had hand sanitizer.

The bathrooms haven't worked in over two years. The host is incompetent and doesn't care about the people or the condition of the campsites. Two years ago we really enjoyed our stay and thought this would be the perfect place for a family reunion campout. My wife booked our site in February 2025 and changed the date in March. There was a $10 fee to do that. Imagine our surprise when all of the family arrives to find that somebody was in our campsite! The host said that someone checked-in shortly before we arrived and her Wi-Fi was down so she couldn't check to see our reservation. She allowed them to make camp and then they left to go do something. She said we could pick another site, but none of them had enough shade or room for our large family tent. The 3rd site she said we could have was already occupied! We had to find another site and confirm no one was there and the reservation card didn't have a date. Our whole family reunion plans revolved around having the largest site, but she allowed two people to take it from us. Please note that check-in is at 3 and we arrived at 4:15. When we drove by our site our name was on the reservation card! The host said she couldn't move their stuff nor did she have a phone number to call to ask them to return to move out of the campsite. When the other campers did come back and spoke to me they said they stayed the night before in another site and had to move campsites due to theirs being reserved. He said he read the sites were first come first served on some website. Please note he said this while standing right in front of the reservation card on the site number with my name on it! Finally, the host offered to refund one of our campsites, but most of the family left early or decided not to stay. Our campsite was too hot during the day and too cold at night. Most of the family was too emotionally strained to stay another night. Once my extended family left, I walked past the site and saw the campers had left some hiking poles behind. I decided to mention it while checking out one of the campsites. After many failed attempts to get the host's attention, we rang her "bell" and she came out to talk to us. When I mentioned the poles she said she would get them and CALL the campers! That's right people! Call them on the phone number she told us she "didn't have". The campsites are poorly maintained. The access road and parking are the only maintained areas. Around the fire rings and tables the asphalt is breaking into chunks that slip out or roll under foot. Crumbling retaining walls and old stumps create random trip hazards. Old stairs show years of erosion so they start and end at unlevel areas. You are so close to Sundance and other camps that their plays, parties, and games can be heard all day and especially at night! The animals (deer and squirrels) are so accustomed to campers that they walk loudly around tents and get very close to camp. Beautiful to see during the day but hard to sleep when they come running/crashing through the trees into camp at night. The best part was the butterflies and beautiful views nearby. Nature is beautiful, but beware when booking these sites. You can do everything they ask and they can force changes to your reservation.

Beautiful campground right next to Aspen Grove at the beginning of the Alpine Loop on the Provo side. It's got tons of shade and large spots. We saw moose and deer in the campground. A favorite of our family. Right now they only have portapotties.

Went here over the weekend for 3 nights, Pam and Don were awesome from beginning to end! Stayed on site 23 which is beautiful with lots of shade, but it is on a slope with a drop off and rocks so it can get dangerous.

What an amazing campsite! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the bathroom facilities were clean. Vicki came through clutch and was very accommodating, she made sure our stay was hassle free!

We loved this campground. The bathrooms are the cleanest bathrooms that we have seen while camping. Vicki the campground host was very friendly and informative, and made sure we felt welcome. We will definitely be back to camp here again this summer!

Don't go there unless someone remove the woman out of there she's very rude and not the right person for the job ,I'm sorry but she did ruined my fathers day and it just nothing to be nice to people. Nice place though with a lot of flies. Site 17 .

STRAIGHT UP AWESOMENESS! YOU CANT GET ANY BETTER CAMPING THEN HERE! THE CAMP HOST IS AWESOME AN LAID BACK... WILL BE STAYING HERE MORE FOR SURE IF THIS CAMPGROUND IS NOT FULL... LOL THANKS AGAIN GUYS
