One of my favorite places to stay. Easy boat landing, great fishing, sandy beach, concrete bottom outhouses that are kept up, no black or gray dump. Love it.

For true campers this place does not do the trick. While the campground has a nice view of the river, it is extremely populated with very little trees or any coverage between sites. The wind made it nearly impossible to do anything outside and I saw zero tents and only RVs. Yes there are maintained bathrooms, but this whole spot is a cookie cutter piece of property complete with people up late getting their boats from the marina with big loud bright lit trucks. There's a main road I can see from the campground that had drivers during the night, as well as houses along the river. Its a nice option for people who want the camp 'feel' with none of the actual camping amenities. This is a glamp site.

Road to get there is a little iffy and narrow with sharp corners. But it sure is Beautiful

I am extremely disappointed to see my state park covered in noxious weeds like knapweed!! This place is always full of people and boat launchers whom each pay $5/day for use. I'm wondering where the money is going if it's not being used to manage the state park!?? It is illegal to transport a noxious weeds but yet we have it growing up there like it's our state flower!! I'm pretty sure you can do better! It is even a staffed state park!

17 site campground on the Missouri River just below Holter Dam. 10.00 per night. 1/2 price for senior pass and federal access pass holders. Boat Launch, Pit toilets, tables, fire pits and water hydrants. Potable water but no place to fill RV water tanks so one less star. Clean. Deer, big horn sheep, snakes and lots of birds. Lots of fishermen on the water.

Beautiful area excellent camping facility,clean restrooms ,great fishing,nice boat ramps and docks.lots of wildlife to view and can't wait to get back. Got a beautiful photograph of three Big Horn Rams ,watering on the lake edge.
