Pictures did not accurately reflect the reality. Cabins are actually 3-plexes, not individual cabins. No one was in the office the entire time of our stay. Bathroom door didn’t shut right and could hardly be opened if you got it closed. Half-eaten pizza was left in the fridge and wasn’t thrown away by the cleaning staff. Toilet wouldn’t flush right. One positive note-the bedroom was nice.

Me and my family are on a spontaneous trip and didn’t have anything planned. We needed somewhere to stay the night. I looked up spots on our way to our next destination and this place popped up. Great prices!! We got here late about 7pm went to the office to check in and they already had an envelope with my name on it the WiFi password and the key in it. It was perfect!!! Such a cute place, rooms are nice and clean. And the area we’re in is beautiful. If you’re ever in this area and need a place to stay fast, reasonably priced , and outdoorsy this is the place I’d recommend. Absolutely love it!!!

This place is great! It’s older, for sure, but clean and well maintained. We were a bit concerned about the lack of AC but even in August with lows in the 40s it was perfectly comfortable. Don’t let the rustic vibe or simple rooms throw you off. It’s perfect for what it is and a very good value.

Unacceptable Experience – No Staff, No Support, Still Charged When we arrived, there was no staff on-site to check us in. A phone number was posted on the door, but no one answered. I called an alternate number listed through Booking.com, and the person I reached was incredibly rude and dismissive. It is completely unacceptable to charge a guest's card with no one available for check-in and no reliable way to get assistance. After wasting time trying to reach someone, we had no choice but to leave and stay at the Lodge down the road. I would not recommend this place based on the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and terrible customer service.

I don’t even know where to begin! Our room was not cleaned and the office was closed the whole time we was there, so to go to the management was out of the question! There was hair on the toilet seats, popcorn of the floor, mirror looked like it had been wiped with a dirty cloth! We had to wipe it down just so we could see in it! There was open soda left in the refrigerator, cup stains on the night stands which we wiped off, and oh my gosh the standing rotating fan was disgusting! We will never stay here again, the rv park looked horrible, definitely tell that things are not being taken care of or cleaned! Warning, the pictures on their website are nothing like the actual place!!

We used to really like this place but our recent stay was absolutely awful. I had heard that they changed ownership so I was willing to accept some roughness during the transition. However, they overcharged me for the room pushing me over the edge so here is the whole review. These are the problems we encountered: 1. They charged us $80 more than the original invoice. The manager claims this was because we had 3 people in the room. We only had the two of us who were there at the desk when we checked in. They eventually refunded about $72 of that but it took significant arguing over the phone. Normally I wouldn't complain about a billing error, but I did not like how I was treated when I called them to fix the error. 2. The room smelled pretty bad. Probably cigarette smoke but may have been other stuff too. 3. The shared kitchen was unusable. Most of what you would need to cook or eat was missing. The stuff that was there was damaged to the point where it wasn't usable. See the photo of the silverware drawer that contains only knives and no forks or spoons. Also the scratched Teflon pans and trash can that was never emptied the entire time we were there.

We LOVE this place. You actually speak to a nice person when you call-its not ran by a giant corporation! We have never been disappointed about a single thing staying here, and we stay here often, especially during ski season! Its affordable, clean, friendly, and close to Wolf Creek Ski Resort. We recently got on the road later than expected and Ute Bluff Lodge was the ONLY place that even answered their phone and booked us a cozy room we checked into at 3am. The best part was the temperature was a perfect 70° in our room, as it was 5° outside during white out conditions! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

Came to South Fork Colorado for a short ski trip. My daughter found this gem. It's an older RV Park, cabins and single rooms with kitchenette. It was very clean, beds comfortable. Clint was and awesome employee there. We needed extra towels, we got them. Extra soap and paper towels we got them. We needed them to open our room for our son since we were not there, they did. Definitely coming back to this place

This place is false advertising there prices ! Online prices are $37.00 bucks but when you go to book a room it's 4 to 5 times that much just have one question for the managers or owners why advertise $ 37 Bucks when your location doesn't have anything for $37 bucks and nobody in that area doesn't have anything even close to that price please explain your bull $ 37 Bucks my opinion poor business tactic. Didn't want to even give a one star but you have to give something to send feedback.

Brought our RV for 2 nights. The people were so lovely! A neighbor offered us breakfast, the camp host helped with change for laundry, and made us feel so welcome! There is a recreation room with games, movies, books, and wood stove! The hiking trail is a must!! The view at the top is beautiful. They also have a hot tub, and laundry room. We will stop again.

Love everything about my lodge room at Ute Bluff Lodge. Except for some reason the memory foam mattress becomes unbearably hot overnight making sleeping very difficult.

I wish I could give 0 stars as this experience was absolutely terrible. If you want a nice relaxing getaway in south fork there are plenty of places to stay, however THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM! Do not waste your time as we did. The website and Google information are not accurate and have false information. There were 0 operational hot tubs on the property being a major reason we booked this location, it was our anniversary and wanted to definitely utilize the tubs and have a relaxing time. We weren't very interested in the property after that seeing as the main amenities that we booked for were not operational. The front desk lady was very uncaring of the situation, did not see the problem with anything and would not give a refund for the half deposit we already made. This would not have been as big of an issue had the situation been handled differently and the lady apologetic in anyway. Then after checking in and realizing there was a huge stain on the sheet, we went to pull the sheet back to see of further stains and take the dirty top sheet off the bed, to our surprise white powder was coming off the sheet and blankets in heaps and upon further inspection was all throughout the bed. It seemed like someone was pouring sugar packets on the bed. The microwave was filthy on the inside with food remnants and just overall the room was not as clean as you'd expect as well. We went to discuss the issue with the very rude front desk person who blatantly told us the housekeeper puts carpet powder in the beds with no concern or anything about it! We were disgusted and appalled. She offered no resolve for the situation instead just pushing us out and now offering a refund at this point which we asked for to begin with. Such a shame the property is very charming but clearly the owners have issues that need to be resolved if they care about their customers which was clear they don't in our experience. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

A very nice and quaint place! The beds were super comfy! The staff was outstanding! You have the bluff behind and the Rio Grande in front it's just an amazing place! We will definitely come back when we are passing through.
