Uvas Pines RV Park

Overview

Uvas Pines RV Park offers a serene escape tucked into the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains in Northern California. This park is widely recognized for its mature pine trees and quiet atmosphere, providing a stark contrast to the busy urban centers of the nearby Silicon Valley. It functions as a peaceful retreat where the natural environment takes center stage, making it a reliable choice for travelers seeking a grounded and tranquil experience in the Morgan Hill area.

Location & Surroundings

Located just west of downtown Morgan Hill, the park is situated along the scenic Uvas Road. The surrounding landscape is characterized by rolling hills and lush vineyards, reflecting the rich agricultural heritage of the Santa Clara Valley. Because the park is set back from the main highway, guests can enjoy a landscape filled with greenery and the sounds of local wildlife, while remaining within a short drive of modern conveniences and the Silicon Valley corridor.

Amenities & Park Features

The park provides essential comforts for modern travelers, including full hookups with both 30 and 50-amp electrical service. To ensure a convenient stay, the facility features on-site laundry rooms and clean restroom facilities. The sites are thoughtfully laid out to accommodate various rig sizes, and the presence of established shade trees throughout the property helps keep the area cool and comfortable during the warm California summers. High-speed Wi-Fi is also provided to help visitors stay connected during their stay.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the close proximity to Uvas Reservoir County Park, which is an excellent spot for fishing, birdwatching, and lakeside picnicking. Wine lovers are perfectly positioned to explore the Santa Clara Valley Wine Trail, which features dozens of family-owned tasting rooms just minutes away. For those seeking more rigorous activity, the massive trail systems at Henry W. Coe State Park offer world-class hiking and mountain biking opportunities nearby.

Who This Park Is Best For

This park is an ideal match for long-term travelers or professionals looking for a quiet home base while working in the San Jose region. It appeals most to RVers who prefer a low-key, residential environment rather than a high-activity tourist resort. If you value a peaceful night's sleep under a canopy of trees and easy access to Northern California's natural beauty and wineries, this location provides a comfortable and steady experience.

⸻ I’m genuinely disappointed with this place and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The maintenance staff are kind and respectful, but the woman in the office is incredibly rude and unprofessional. She clearly doesn’t like children or music. She came to our trailer at 2 PM — not even during quiet hours — to tell us to lower the music, which was playing inside while I was cleaning. It felt completely unnecessary and made us feel unwelcome. Earlier that same day, she also tried to charge us for a payment I had already made before moving in. Instead of checking her records first, she just assumed we hadn’t paid. That kind of disorganization is unacceptable. On top of that, the facilities are in terrible condition. The washing machines are filthy, there’s visible wear and tear everywhere, and there are no amenities or activities to justify the price. Everything looks old and poorly maintained. For the amount they charge, this place is absolutely not worth it. I regret staying here. Don’t waste your time or money. ⸻

Thought I did this already over a year ago ? So yes FIVE HUGE STARS ! This place is HOMEY & IMMACULATE! For those who complain about the long termers , I disagree , they are the nicest & most welcoming of all . We had our neighbor bring us grapes & we’re unbelievably hospitable all I met were - the grounds are kept up at all times & they will accommodate you in any way possible without a second step - Nancy is so gracious as a host / manager , so it cannot be her they speak of , however I have found that many use review tools as a way of a temper tantrum . We were delayed a year in the RV from our move out of state due to an injury ,& while we pay for Thousand Trails membership right next door , on our “ Out” week we were led here. By another TT member , we chose to pay the rent & stay because it was so comfortable & nice . I cannot say enough about this incredible gem , whatever it is you’re doing ( to the owner ) keep it up as they prove their allegiance daily .

Maintenance staff is really nice and friendly. But office staff seems annoyed your even there, as if it's a inconvenience for The lady in the office that your staying with them. 98 percent of the people here are full time RVers, Everyone has a attitude and seems upset your even camping here as if your in their way or something. Talked to few people at the dog park seems most people been there 15 years or so. Which dog park is super dry lots of dead grass and goat heads end up in dogs paws. Laundry room is not wheelchair accessible it's super small only one person can fit at a time. Hardly no room at all. It's expensive and No amenities except a bathroom and small laundry room. Can be quiet less your on the side by the road then it's super noisy. It's pretty much a loop (circle ) of sites not very big. No TV reception either but did have WiFi
