Campsite was good , close to the lake ..all was good with the exception of the Bathhouse ..the shower , spraying water in all directions, tiles missing , and warm water was gone within 3 minutes then cold ..other than the shower very satisfying!

The campground doesn't have electric or water at the campsite. It does have a grill and a picnic table, and the sites have some privacy and the driveway is paved and flat enough for our van. The (free) showers are hot. And the hiking is nice, though the boater trash is disgusting.

Camp sites are so close together, no privacy at all!! Some campers beside me came in around 9pm stayed up ALL NIGHT, loud music, laughing, using profanity, drinking and they went to sleep at 5AM...TOTALLY ruined my stay!!!! And restrooms and bathhouse are disgusting!!! I will NOT be coming back!!! Very disappointing!!! 5/17/25

Great campground, decent facilities, and Joe, the host, was very friendly and accommodating. Large, private lots and, if you can, get a waterfront site. My only complaint is the website dupped us, be careful when booking. Go see Joe!

Lower Loop site 13. The driveway was slightly sloped, but the tent pad was level. I've never been a huge fan of gravel tent pads, but with a little extra supplies, it works for us. Our 9x7 tent fit great. The lake was only a few seconds away. No one bothered us, which is the way we like it. Thursday night, it was super quiet. Friday night, the families arrived with kids, but still no serious issues. It is a family campground, after all. The bathrooms and showers mostly worked. But, sometimes things break and are out of order. We were about a 30 second walk from the dumpster and water station. Even with the burn ban, people were still building fires in the fire pit. It wasn't really cold, so we chose not to risk being the reason for another wildfire. Badin Lake is still one of my favorite places to visit.
