Me and my girlfriend stayed in one of the new Yurts on site with another friend of ours and it was a great weekend. Once there are bathrooms in the cabins this will immediately be changed to a 5 star review. The guy up at the service desk was helpful and knew of a few great, local fishing spots. The views were amazing HOWEVER, I did forget a pair of wadders and I was limited to only shore fishing. I did see the store upfront had some, but I just didn't wanna spend the extra money. Mayor Mike was friendly and had some great fishing advise as well. My girlfriend had a great, little, birthday weekend camping trip and our friend we brought up as well did too. I did see that the vending machine by the bathroom didn't have an electric outlet installed for it YET, but we brought plenty of drinks anyway. We will absolutely be coming back again and will recommend. Especially for fishermen, the salmon we seen were gorgeous. Thank you Jake, your doing awesome. 😀

Male checking us in was rude and not helpful. Did not get site that was reserved. Small sites. Fish gut cooler not working - was told AC unit broke but had part and would be fixed that day- it wasn't. Smell so bad couldn't be there. Left early. Won't be recommending or staying again. Loved the area as we stayed away from camp site saw many area spots.

Our family stayed in one of the newer RVs next to the river. The RV was clean and comfortable. The view of the river was amazing and tranquil. We caught sight of an otter swimming in front of our site! I had a chance to take a dip in the river. It was so refreshing. Our family made some great memories at WRC, especially for our first time camper at 3 years old.

This place is amazing. Had a great trip with our 2 young kids (5 and 7). The staff here was super helpful, shuttled us to our car after 1.5 hour kayak trip down the Besie river. We stayed in the riverside RV in place and couldn't have been easier. Went to the beach one day, nearby putt putt and fished all weekend from our site. There was even a concert at the campground on Saturday evening! Will definitely be back.

We stayed here recently for the first time and we were treated like family! We realized we forgot to pack an extension cord for our electrical and they happily grabbed one from their store (brand new), opened it, and simply let us borrow it during our trip. The sites along the river were remarkable and truly one of a kind, you can’t get that close like that! Also they said that if you wanted to kayak or float down the river they will help pick you up. You can tell that the owners/ownership care about this place and want to make it a destination for families to make memories. Excited to come back soon!
