Very nice campground. Enjoyed being on the river. Staff were very friendly. Noted several recent improvements including construction of at least a couple of yurts on site. Would recommend.

I showed up in town well before my check-in time. I asked if I could drop some gear off and was told that not only could I drop gear off, but that my reservation was available for me already. Staff was friendly, and we even got to meet the owner and his dog. The location is about as good as it gets to use as a base camp for a fishing adventure.

I used to stay here when it was Vacation Trailer Park, and visited here for many years. When the new owners took over things were bumpy, and I get it. But this place has gone down hill. The reservation system it terrible and is wrong most of the time. I had reservations for one of the mini cabin, they had it as the new A-frame which was the office. They then had me on a camping site as well. Finally got that resolved. Cabins have no amenities at all, except a bathroom and two twin beds. Tried to cancel a reservation for 2025 and they had it in the wrong name. Won't refund the deposit and then said I had a reservation for 2026. Months ago I inquired about some dates for 2026, but never paid. They said I did. This place is a cluster. Too bad, I made so many memories there over 15+ years. Time to find a new place.

What a Joke!!! This place used to be a great place with great customer service and good prices! I get notified 3 days before my trip my balance is over $300 dollars after I booked and paid for a site over 12months ago. Should have been notified last year that prices increased over double! I would have canceled then. This camp site is not worth $600 dollars for a week. Now I can not get a hold of anyone who can give me a refund, and I was basically told by the lady it won't happen! After I asked if I could have the owner call me I was told I was better off trying to call back later this afternoon. Sad to see a good place take a shit so fast! Keep the money! Not worth my time to call you.

I hate to even leave a review of this nature, but we haven’t received any response from management after we were told we would be able to speak to someone on the day we checked out….. We rented the tiny home, it’s a brand new camper with lots. The camper itself is really nice, minus a small issue. The campsite that the tiny home is located on might be the worst one in the campground. It’s right next to the utility garage for the campground, so there is always something going on, and the lights are left on at night, it shines through the campsite and the security light never shuts off. The site is extremely small. The fire pit is about two feet away from the entrance rug. Upon arrival at 4:15, someone from the campground told us the office is closed? We were there to check in. She seemed a little frustrated at first bc she didn’t know anyone was checking in that day. At first I thought she was a little rude but after trying to deal with other employees and management there, I completely understand why. She soon turned it around and got us to out site, which nobody had keys for, so we waited for that as well. The flapper/valve on the toilet didn’t work, so upon arrival, the bathroom was covered in fruit flies, the walls, the mirror, the shower. We contacted them and we were told to put some lemon scent down the drain. That didn’t work. 2 employees ended up coming through the camper stating how gross it was and they apologized. We basically kept the door shut the entire time for the bathroom and used the public bathrooms there. We went to the store and bought some fruit fly traps but it just couldn’t keep up. We were overcharged over 100 dollars. The front desk had no idea how to calculate any of it, and basically said there is someone else behind the computer controlling the price? So the 175 a night as advertised is not true. We had several staff members text us to come in and pay the remaining balance, and every time we went up to do so, they couldn’t figure out the rate or what was going on. So the last day of checkout, we paid, although we knew it was more than advertised and left our contact info and we were told we would get a call from Kyle the owner. We won’t be back, and don’t recommend this place to anyone.

Visited to check out what's available. Loved all the mature trees. Plenty of shaded and sunny sites. Office staff was extremely helpful and so pleasant to speak with! Restrooms are modern and clean and the heated pool was very inviting. Location was perfect too!

Unless you are 65 and older and like peace and quiet constantly RUN RUN RUN!!!! We were shoved in like sardine cans in our spots. They do not cut down low hanging limbs so many people were taking out limbs with their air conditioners..Literally when the camper next to us put their slide out it was on our site. No activities what so ever. Our power went out and other campsites around us for an hour. When we went to the office to inform someone we were spoken to very rudely that they already knew. You only get to have a campfire ring if they think it’s safe and they have to set it. The campsites are so cramped that the fire ring would catch campers on fire. We had to pay for another site just to have room for a fire and to park. After we paid for the extra spot we were constantly being asked why we were using that site… like hello.. we paid for it remember?? After asking for a fire ring twice and waiting 5 hrs we finally went and bought our own. This is more of a retirement community and the people that are there just stare at you like they don’t want you there. Not for children or people that like to have fun, play music etc. most of the campground was in bed by 9. The website says they have 2 play grounds… the “playgrounds” consisted of one swing seat. When I asked about canoe and kayak trips the lady at the counter couldn’t give me start or stop times. They had like 8 kayaks that were dirty, filled With water to rent laying in the mud and old style metal tippy canoes. The one thing I can say was good was the bath houses were very clean. They advertise a heated pool that is smaller than mine at home. . But it was clean. If you are looking for the fun and happening campground with golf carts, activities etc.. it’s not this one!
