Vacationland RV Park and Family Campground
Overview
Overview
Vacationland RV Park and Family Campground in Brackley Beach, Prince Edward Island delivers a classic maritime camping experience along the northern coast of the province. Operating under a name that evokes traditional summer getaways, this property places travelers right on the edge of the Gulf of St. Lawrence shorelines. Visitors arriving with travel trailers, fifth wheels, and motorhomes find an authentic coastal backdrop defined by rolling dunes and salty ocean breezes.
Location & Surroundings
Situated along the north shore of Prince Edward Island, the area is characterized by red sandstone cliffs, expansive sandy beaches, and windswept coastal grasslands. Travelers typically access the region via Route 15 from Charlottetown, traversing flat agricultural landscapes that quickly give way to coastal ecosystems. Summer weather brings mild, comfortable temperatures ideal for outdoor living, though evening ocean drafts keep the air crisp after sunset.
Amenities & Park Features
Because specific on-site infrastructure is not advertised in the park name, arriving campers should verify utilities and layout details directly before arrival. Typically, family-oriented campgrounds in this region offer essential facilities such as central water spigots, electrical hookups, dump stations, and washhouse blocks. Guests are strongly encouraged to confirm specific site dimensions, slide-out clearances, and hookup types directly with park management to ensure compatibility with their specific RV configuration.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
The surrounding region provides exceptional outdoor recreation, most notably the adjacent Prince Edward Island National Park with its protected dune systems and supervised beaches. Cycling enthusiasts can utilize the Confederation Trail network spanning the island, while local coastal fishing villages offer fresh seafood markets. Day trips into nearby Charlottetown provide historical theater, museums, and dining options just a short drive down the paved highway system.
Who This Park Is Best For
This destination suits families and road-trippers seeking a coastal basecamp for exploring the north shore beaches and national park trails. It appeals to travelers prioritizing geographic proximity to the Gulf of St. Lawrence over resort-style on-site luxuries. Those navigating smaller camper vans or standard motorhomes will find the regional roads manageable and the coastal scenery rewarding for extended stays.

Visited someone camping there. What an outdated dump. It's a trailer park with people from trailer parks...... Bathrooms are gross, campsites are all uneven and seasonal sites are too close to one another. No updates since I visited 20 years ago.

I love coming here every year, the campers are great and it is mostly quite. I just have one observation and a complaint.Observstion- does grass cutting need to be done on a Saturday afternoon disturbing the peace of campers. Complaint- the mower that just cut the grass next to me has the safety guard tied up defeating it's purpose, doesn't the operator realise that if he picks up a chunk of debris he could seriously injure or kill someone. Isn't it worth the trouble to put it in place and possibly save someone.

This was our first time staying here and I have to say that we absolutely loved it. It was in a perfect location, close to Charlottetown, close to the beach. We brought our toy hauler and motorbikes , our lot ( 813) was a perfect size for our 40 foot camper. The campground is beautiful, clean and very well maintained. This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have been to. We will definitely be back in fact I would love to come back and stay for a week! Thank you for this little Jem of a place ! Sincerely Peggy Corkum.
