We stayed at Vagabond Village for 4 nights. We are very grateful that they still have camping spots for travelers like us. There are many seasonal places here and they are all very clean and well maintained. The entire campground is well maintained. The laundry room and bathrooms were meticulous, as well as the pool and the pool area. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely campground on a great lake with a pool! The owners are very nice and accommodating. Our guests stayed at campsite one right by the office. It was a great site because it was close to the pool and the lake. Potato lake has some good fishing, my husband has caught a very large smallmouth there and I have heard it is a decent Crappie lake as well. Vagabond has a great spot on the lake with nice clean water and a beach area. Location wise, you are not far from Itasca State Park or Park Rapids. In Park Rapids, you can find shopping and good restaurants, they also have a brand new mini golf course which is only 10-15 minutes from the campground. With the pool and other amenities at Vagabond, though, you really wouldn't ever need to/want to leave. It is a great place.

I camped with my family at Vagabond Village when I was a child and last summer I got the pleasure of bringing my own family! It is a wonderful place to camp! So close to Itasca and so many things to do nearby. That being said, you don't even need to leave the campground if you don't want to as there are so many things to do on the property! We played shuffleboard, tennis, tetherball and swam for hours in the pool and the lake! We also never missed a day without hand scooped ice cream! We will be back this summer!
