This is the first review I ever authored. I stayed at Valley of the Sun RV park for three months this year (last two prepaid at a discount). This will be the second one star review posted in the last month. Do not stay here if you are a minority or intend to have any overnight visiting guests during your stay. Jim, (identified as one of the owners) told me that, "by law" residents CAN'T have overnight guests, under 55 AND who did not register upon arrival, for more than THREE days. I asked Jim to copy me with the referenced statute. He, instead called and left a voicemail (which is saved) stating that I will be charged $25 daily after the third day. Then the next day Jim called again (I was able to answer this time) and he arbitrarily changed it to "thirty dollars" for each day beyond three. Here's the rub, due to Management, having eyes on all vehicle and pedestrian traffic, don't think they won't be quick to use police to harrass persons they consider undesirables. Oh yeah, my visiting friend happened to be Latino and he was accosted by the Marana PD the FIRST time he walked to the retail store next door. Managment also demanded payment on the SAME day the electric meter was read monthly; no bill, no grace period and the office called my Sister in New York when they could not reach me (the day of the first reading) before close of business. My Sister originally arrived with me and was originally registered as a overnight guest without them blinking an eye. Did I mention my Family happens to be of European ancestry? Finally there are Long term (heavy equipment) projects on the property boundary which starts at 7AM and will require constant sweeping out of the debris entering the vents and windows of your RV.

We stayed at this park with our Class A Motorhome for the month of February The park and its facilities were all well maintained and nice and clean The Managers and staff are very friendly and very helpful some of the nicest people we’ve ever had in an RV park in Arizona We felt welcomed and appreciated by all the staff and guests When we are in the area we will most definitely stay here

We love this place because it’s an easy on/off from the freeway, but most importantly is the friendliness of the staff. RV’s park way in the back. It is quiet and we had a good night sleep. Price is great too. In the evening a couple were walking their dogs and said, “welcome to the park.”

I parked my travel trailer here and what a wonderful place. The people are very kind the community is a 55 plus Community with a swimming pool a game room a clubhouse and a laundry on site very well kept!

We really enjoy staying at this RV park when visiting Tucson. Maria, in the office is great to work with. They are very accommodating. They send you your assigned space ahead of time so you can go directly to it when you get here. We will be back.

I can't say enough good things about this place. The staff were kind and accommodating. The facilities are lovely, it's quiet and safe. I'm working as a traveling RN, and this is the nicest campground I've been to. Easy access to I-10. The office ladies are the best. I hope I can come back again to the Tucson area next winter. If you stay here, you won't regret it!!

We stayed at Valley of the Sun for almost 5 months. My husband's mother became ill and lives in Oro Valley. We started out only going to stay for a few weeks, but it soon became obvious we needed a longer stay. The staff at Valley of the Sun were very accommodating and worked hard to find us a spot. The sites are close, but enough room to sit out and relax. It is quiet and has all the amenities you need (laundry, pool, propane, etc). We can't say enough about the staff and their kindness and efficiency here. We will be back again!

We love everything about this park except if you have reservations for a specific spot, someone else can bump you off if they want for longer period of time.

What a wonderful park!!! The staff here are very helpful in answering any questions that you have. Restrooms are clean and pool area is great!!! I would recommend this park !!!

This is a clean and quiet RV park with very nice park managers. We liked being away from the faster pace city life. We highly recommend Valley of the Sun!

Very tight close spaces but a great spot for one night. Clean and comfortable , secure. Nice people
