One of the nicest campgrounds we have visited. It’s located on top of the mountain, which affords stunning views of the Annapolis valley. There’s lovely hiking trail to explore and a large picnic area with numerous tables and again, valley views, the campground is beautiful, wooded and private. Bath house is new so the facilities are great and clean. The park staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. A special shout out to John for helping us with our dead battery problem! When we return to this region, we will not miss coming back and neither should you miss out on this little gem.

Lovely spot, great services, beautiful view. No complaints at all. Comfortable showers. They have a dish washing station!

First time at this park, and we're blown away by how clean and accessible the washrooms and showers are. The staff were friendly and helpful. The firewood we bought was good value - we've paid up to $12 for a bag of splits at other parks. 🙄 The sites were spacious with average privacy in a mature wooded area. Low traffic in this area, kids can play easily. Dog friendly, which was fine with us even though we didn't have a dog. ❤️ In the area, definitely go see Port Royal National Historic Site. Phenomenal. Fort Anne is also close by. Digby was a little further of a drive, but a nice lunch at The Crow's Nest was worth it. If this park had laundry facilities, I'd give it 5 stars, but we did drive into nearby "downtown" Bridgetown to a 24-hr laundromat on Church Street. There is a Tim Hortons in the area as well. Finally, we ran into a small issue with our vehicle and Everett & Son's were kind enough to help us out. I would easily recommend this park if you're in the area.

This is hands down the best location we have ever camped at. The view is amazing, they have fire pits that allowed us to make a fire and keep it going, even when the wind was 50km+ gusts (note not all sites have the same fire pit), and the bathrooms were the standard all provincial campgrounds should follow. They were clean and warm. There are 4 with just toilets, 2 with showers and toilets, and 2 just showers. The campground itself was quiet and I saw the NS parks person several times while were there. Lastly, apparently the wood there is a better quality as well- my husband said it split easily with the axe and was proper firewood.

We had a great experience at the park. There are two lookoffs, the best one is across from one of the sites. The wood was dry and easy to burn, yahooo!!! For you Geocachers there are 9 caches at the park, we found 8 of them. While there take a run to Hampton Beach, the teenagers had a grand time collecting rocks. The washrooms have been redone and are very nice. We will be back to this camp getting. Oh yes, having a powdered sore was nice too!
