Great overnight stay! Very welcoming! Relaxing and peaceful with large grassy fields for kids and dogs to stretch their legs. Would definitely stop here again.

Lived here for a good portion of 2024. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to be. Beautiful land with hidden gems of nature, great community with the permanent campers, missed it so much I go back to visit and help out frequently. Highly recommend this place for anyone passing through or looking to live at a campground

Beautiful grounds. Mostly permanent sites. We were assigned a "pull thru" that was a narrow stretch of loose rock. With a 45' rig towing a full size truck and rain in the forecast, we were very worried about sinking in and getting stuck. The next spot offered was out in an open field with no sewer. Same sinking problem. We finally ended up in with the permanents. I would not recommend this park for big rigs. It is beautiful and peaceful.

I camped out in an RV at Van Hoy Campgrounds to attend an event. Luke, one of the owners, showed my friend and I the history of the land which has belonged to his family for generations. It has a shower and toilets if camping. The water and 50-amp power hookup worked great!

The owners here were very accommodating for us and our friends. They are working on expanding. We only stayed overnight but it was very quiet. It's only about a mile off the interstate. Easy off and easy on. Thank you all so much for your hospitality!

Nice folks. No tp in rr, and 1 of 2 stalls didn't flush. It's difficult to keep rr clean during a wet spring, but bathroom was really shabby. For the $55 I paid, I expected better.

I always dislike when Google mandates a star. I want to give ZERO stars, but it won't allow me to. BEWARE before you reserve something at this "campground" - It is possible you could pay for one thing and get something VERY different - with no apologies or discount offered. We paid for one night in advance with 50 amp electric service. We assumed the reservation and payment IN FULL meant something. Not the case. They allowed the "real side of the campground" to be filled by others before we arrived and basically threw us out into an open field, no picnic table, no trees at all, no shade AND NO 50 AMP ELECTRIC. When a company doesn't send you a paid receipt with your specific site requests on it, I guess that should be red flag enough. I asked for itemized receipt and I got "Don's got you down - he knows you are coming" - yikes! I guess that was on ME for trusting - DON'T trust. Buyer please beware.

We only stayed a night while traveling through. We love it there because we get to stay in the field for a night . It's just water and electric in the field but they have full hookups in another area. It's quiet in the field and pretty. We love this place because it is so quiet. We enjoyed it very much and when we are passing through this area we like to stop there. Excellent!!!
