We arrived later and we called and had to reserve online. We were on our way home and was tired so this was open . When we got here a few RV were already here. It was pretty much open space but the spaces were pretty crowded together. I would not have cared for it if it was packed. It is a 4H ground so keeping that in mind I don’t expect resort quality. We did not use the bathhouse, laundry, or showers. The grounds were nicely kept and maintained and clean. We did have full Hookups. It was a pull over and sleep as it was a half way point to home. The grounds did the job and we felt safe. We stayed hooked up and didn’t even have to unhook! It was spot on for a level ground! No Blocks needed . We had Spot 6. Was not sure of the spot as it was kinda confusing, At least we hope we parked in the right spot 😂 Easy access in and out. It is all gravel spots. There are hills for walking and grass spots for the dog to go. We did hear a train but otherwise it was super quiet. We would stay here again for a quick overnight stop. Would not recommend it for more than a couple days unless it’s for an event on the grounds. The staff was amazing on the phone and was super helpful. Super sweet! Gave it a 4 because of the great customer service we received and that the grounds were cleaned, leveled and well maintained. Not all had picnic tables and fire pits. It is not a KOA nor a resort high quality place. I didn’t expect much more but I was pleasantly surprised on how level the parking was. This is a plain Jane basic campground that fits basic needs. Pet friendly and plenty of places to walk the dog. We called other places and they were all full. We were happy we found something . We had US cellular and full 5 bars.

The official north side dog park, jogging track, learning-how-to-drive course, train watching-couple walking-bike riding....all rolled into one. I love walking a lap on Sunday afternoons here, great way to wrap up a weekend. I've come here for the 4H Fair and Frog Follies of course but also guns shows, antique shows, Halloween shows, wedding receptions, WWII displays, old tractors, and my all time favorite...the annual Christmas lights and Santa Castle. Speaking of WWII, these grounds played a part in Evansville's Arsenal of Democracy effort. If you walk toward the back of the ground you'll notice concrete "pyramids"...these were ammo bunkers storing locally produced ammo before shipment via rail to both coasts. Nearby warehouse storage served as a transfer point to the rail cars. The reinforced concrete walls scattered about at odd angles mark the spot where loaded ammo box cars were parked. These walls were blast shields designed to redirect potential explosions away from bunkers and warehouses. In your mind's eye you can picture a bustling ammunition holding area. This is private property open to the public and everyone has been respectful of their rules. If you have a spare afternoon come on down and take a stroll.

Had awesome time at Monster Trucks. Got pelted with mud. Grandkids loved it. Up close to meet and take pictures of Trucks and drivers.

Amazing place, super clean, great staff. Traveled down from central WI for the eclipse. Day after as we were going to leave we blew a tire (our spare). The staff found us a jack and jack stand so we could get the tire replaced. The site was perfect level, didn’t need a single block under the tires. Power supply was perfect (watch dog reported no issues) and water pressure was strong. Onsite sewer hook up as well made for an amazing trip. Will definitely consider coming back if in the area again. Nice to have a no frills I don’t need or want to pay for, clean facility with reasonable pricing and super easy online reservation process. Grocery store about a block away had the supplies we needed and more. Definitely worth stopping if you’re looking for a nice place to hook in and go explore. Grounds are pet friendly and lots of green space to go walk. Didn’t get time to explore much but it is on our list for a return trip.

Attended a plant sale here and was not disappointed. The grounds and buildings are well maintained. Plenty of parking space and easy to navigate.
