We spent a month at Vedder River in Sepetember, enjoying the mountain views to one side and the salmon running in the river on the other. Sites are generally level, not too wide, but generous in length. We had full service and there were no issues at all. Campground facilities are well maintained - very clean and always stocked. Maintenance people are constantly working around the site making sure the grass is cut and sites are clean. Staff is super friendly. Can't wait to go back!

• My site was level. • I did not use the showers, they are push button and you can’t control the temp. • It is a nice campground, sites are a bit on the smaller side, but not too crowded. • Nice mix of sun and shade. • Close to the river, it’s very peaceful. • I would stay again.

The only good thing about this campground is the location — the river was just a short walk from our site, and Cultus Lake is only a 15-minute drive away. We stayed at one of the large non-serviced sites, which offered no shade or privacy. While portable toilets were placed nearby, the flush toilet and shower facility was clearly insufficient for the number of campers staying here. Overall, it felt more like camping in a parking lot than in nature. I didn’t feel safe — our tents were completely exposed and it seemed like a vehicle could easily run over us in the dark. At one point, a group across from us left at 12:40 a.m., and their headlights shone directly into our tent, which was honestly quite scary.

Its fine if you like parking lots, I guess. Front staff were good and mostly accommodating. I had issues with a neighbouring site within a couple hours of arrival and they were willing to move my site, but after taking a walk around I decided to leave with no refund, and head down the road to the nearby BC Rec site instead for $17 which was incredible. Other than hookups and bathrooms, it's literally a parking lot for $60/night. Good access to the Rotary Trail system. Everything is an additional cost.

We had a wonderful time camping here with our kids! It’s a fantastic spot for families – plenty of open space for children to run around and have fun. The swings were a big hit with the little ones, and the area felt very safe and clean. One of the highlights was the barbeque setup – we enjoyed grilling in the evening and sitting around together. The washrooms were surprisingly clean and well-maintained, which made the stay even more comfortable. Overall, this place is perfect for a family getaway. Peaceful, kid-friendly, and well-equipped with everything you need for a relaxing camping trip. Highly recommended!
