Ventura RV Resort has been our family’s favorite summer getaway for years! Every year we bring our fifth wheel and spend an entire week relaxing, making memories, and enjoying everything this beautiful resort has to offer. From the moment you arrive, there’s a sense of calm. The grounds are impeccably maintained, the landscaping is beautiful, and everything is always clean and well cared for. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, and having 24/7 security gives us peace of mind throughout our stay. One of our favorite things is how family-friendly the resort is. The kids absolutely love riding their bikes, roller skating, taking the train rides, enjoying ice cream socials, listening to music, and participating in the fun weekend activities that are always thoughtfully planned. There is never a shortage of things to do! The location is perfect, with easy bike rides to the beach and all the beauty Ventura has to offer. The on-site store is incredibly convenient and stocked with just about anything you might need during your stay. If you’re looking for a place to relax, reconnect with family, and create lasting memories, Ventura RV Resort is the place to go. We look forward to coming back year after year and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing RV vacation ! You guys Rock !

When I first Googled Ventura campsites, this location came up, and I’ll be honest—I was a little hesitant. The reviews were all over the place, and I didn’t quite know what to expect. I decided to follow them on Instagram, and I saw a post mentioning they were under new management. The tone felt different—like they were trying to reset and make things right. That gave me enough confidence to book a weekend. From the first phone call, I felt comfortable. The young lady I spoke with was all about customer service—engaging, kind, informative, and she took the time to explain my options. That made the decision easy. I ended up really enjoying the stay. I like that they have a pool and jacuzzi—there’s nothing better than getting in the hot tub after surfing in the morning. They’ve got convenient trash areas, and the showers are free, which I appreciate since I’d rather not use the one in my RV. The water was hot with solid pressure. There was a Saturday night bicycle parade that I didn’t participate in, but it was fun to watch roll past my campsite. The store is well stocked, and I noticed they’ve removed the political hats and shirts that people had mentioned in older reviews—which, honestly, I think is the right call. Why bring that into camping? Let people just enjoy the experience. I didn’t have any issues with noise after hours. I know some reviews mentioned late-night parties, but that wasn’t my experience at all. In fact, I’ve now stayed three separate weekends, and it’s been consistently good each time. They sell firewood and just about anything you might need for your RV. There was even a taco stand during one of my stays—looked like an outside vendor, but a nice touch. They’ve got old-school arcade games like Pac-Man, plus laundry facilities if you need them. It’s not right on the water like some of the county or state campgrounds—it’s about a block away—but it’s an easy walk or ride. One upside is that it’s closer to Old Town Ventura, which makes it easy to hop on a bike, grab dinner, and enjoy the area. They also offer some lower-cost sites with water and power but no sewer hookup. I’m planning to try one of those next, and I’m fine with using the dump station to save a little money. All in all, it’s been a really good experience. I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt like this one was worth sharing. Thumbs up to Ventura Beach RV Resort.

This resort is my family’s slice of heaven away from home. We live in Thousand Oaks so it’s 30 min drive to see all the smiling faces. The grounds are emasculate, every person including the owner are the nicest and sweetest you’ll ever meet. From movie nights on the big screen, to food trucks at night, to the arcade center. Perfect family fun. The pool and hot tub were clean and the beach is a 5 min walk. 💯 our favorite place and a lot of it for me is knowing my kiddos are safe to run around and ride bikes and explore. You won’t go wrong staying with our friends at the Ventura Beach RV resort.

Listen up, fellow awesome people! Life is too short for boring weekends. Ventura Beach RV Resort is THE place to reclaim your glory days. Fun for everyone 5 minutes to 150 years old. Where to begin…The staff is absolutely incredible (they must have been trained by Chuck Norris himself on the art of being a damn good time!). And let's talk about the amenities - breakfast, movie nights, DJs, camp fires, crafts, giveaways - it's like a never-ending party perfect for all ages that you never want to leave. Plus, the store has everything you need to keep the beer flowing and the good times rolling. The landscaping at Ventura Beach RV Resort is something people on your Instagram try to duplicate in their photos. Beautiful palm trees, spacious RV spots, clean facilities, and grass so soft you want to sleep on it. And did I mention the big spaces becuase im going to say it again for those in the back? Plenty of room for setting up a killer BBQ, big screen projector, or dance floor. So if you're looking for a fun-filled weekend with the coolest people you will ever meet (cough cough Dennis), Ventura Beach RV Resort is the place for you. It's like Coachella and Stagecoach, but with RVs, cooler people, and you dont have to sell a kidney to afford it. Trust me, you'll have the time of your life!

What a great RV park location- you can ride your bike from the RV park to the beach without ever being in the road. And then ride on the boardwalk, past the pier and the beach and through a city park and back. Watching surfers run barefoot with their boards from their cars on Main Street to the surf was a favorite of mine. And Cody, told me to check out the end of Main Street where u can walk to and that was such a long blocked off area of the historic district protected from cars, and patrolled; an area to feel safe, shop, walk, bike, and eat and drink, and then walk back to the park. Ventura is simply an awesome historic town. I met a woman there named Martha who owns Ecugreen and now I have a new friend for life. She greets you for the first time as if she knew you for a lifetime. Great store with Ecuadorian goods and such a lovely person she is. The park is so pretty and I love the long wide roads and the many beautiful trees. Great stay- Great staff. We always say RV parks are only as good as the people at the front desk. Of course we had a couple of issues like anywhere else but the difference is, it is run by a man named Kylie, and he could not have been more accommodating, respectful, and just a nice person. We would definitely stop in there again when on the west coast. Special thanks to Kylie, Adrianna, Cody, Beverly, Sam, Tilia, Christine, Megan, Ventura, Juda, Ceaser, Rob, and I apologize, but I can’t recall the women’s name in admin who passed me off to Kylie, after she validated our minor complaint about our neighbor. Spike (?) working the security was a great guy too. So if you ever want to park and party, or park and relax on weekdays, this is a wonderful place to do so!
