This is a great place for families with younger kids who want to spend a long weekend enjoying the resort's amenities. If this isn't you, look elsewhere. The RV sites are extremely close to one another. Larger RVs have difficulty avoiding trees and other vegetation as you drive into and out of the resort. Other vehicles are parked very close to and on the resort's paved roads (making driving into and out of the resort a challenge). The staff provided poor instructions and were unfriendly throughout our stay. While the name of the resort is Ventura Beach, you won't get a view of the Beach without getting to the other side of the 101 (not as easy as it appears on the map). We were on the road for nine days during our most recent RV trip, spending the night in a different RV campground each day. This was by far the worst place we stayed and cost more than twice as much as every other location. We will not return.

We recently stayed here and had a fantastic experience. We loved winding down in the heated pool and hot tub. Having access to clean restrooms, hot showers, and laundry facilities on-site was incredibly convenient. The free Wi-Fi worked great, and it is an exceptionally kid-friendly environment with a playground and recreation room that kept the children fully entertained.Safety was never an issue during our stay, allowing us to fully relax. Every staff member we encountered provided outstanding customer service. The on-site general store is completely fully stocked with everything you need, and the live music on the weekends was a wonderful added plus. Our kids enjoyed the night bike parade! Thanks Mikes Lights! We highly recommend this comfortable, well-equipped coastal resort!

The park is on the highway, which didn’t bother me but my father some. I live in a quiet community however I found the traffic to be lulling. The place is very clean. The employees were kind. The downside for me was the showers, those were kind of dated and not enough of them. We had to wait around 8 o’clock at night for about 15 minutes outside. Can ride bike/walk to restaurants if want to. We enjoyed our stay.

This was where I stayed when I couldn't get any information from the Emma Woods State Park online or at the unattended gate. It is not cheap, $169 per night. But, it was the only port in the storm! However, the staff was great! The space was great! The property was great! Even though it is close to the Hwy 101, most of the time I couldn't hear the noise. In spite of the cost, I enjoyed my stay and will very likely be back. It would be nice to not pay as much to stay as it costs to stay at a nearby hotel. There were many families and it was seriously a good stay. Cost is my only concern.

Ventura RV Resort has been our family’s favorite summer getaway for years! Every year we bring our fifth wheel and spend an entire week relaxing, making memories, and enjoying everything this beautiful resort has to offer. From the moment you arrive, there’s a sense of calm. The grounds are impeccably maintained, the landscaping is beautiful, and everything is always clean and well cared for. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, and having 24/7 security gives us peace of mind throughout our stay. One of our favorite things is how family-friendly the resort is. The kids absolutely love riding their bikes, roller skating, taking the train rides, enjoying ice cream socials, listening to music, and participating in the fun weekend activities that are always thoughtfully planned. There is never a shortage of things to do! The location is perfect, with easy bike rides to the beach and all the beauty Ventura has to offer. The on-site store is incredibly convenient and stocked with just about anything you might need during your stay. If you’re looking for a place to relax, reconnect with family, and create lasting memories, Ventura RV Resort is the place to go. We look forward to coming back year after year and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing RV vacation ! You guys Rock !
