I wish all places would tell you if their tent site was small/big or have pictures. We have a 6 person tent, and the area for the tent is maybe a 4 person tent size. We made it work though. I feel like July/August is the best time to visit. We came once in late summer, and now June, and both times it has stormed on us. Pros: rite on the water with nice kayaking, paddle boarding, boating & the dog loves; dog friendly with multiple pet waste stations; clean place; Cons: smaller tent sites; has stormed each time we've come

I’ve been coming to this place for over 30 years. It is one of my favorite places. I love the improvements that have been made over the last 2 years and look forward to many more. For those of you new to this campsite, Crandon is known for crazy storms and wind so just make sure you are prepared. Regardless of weather, you are guaranteed to have an amazing time here. The beach is wonderful and you can go extremely far out without it getting too deep.

Quiet, clean and beautiful. All reconstructed so watershed is resolved. Clean shower house, small but nice beach area on a beautiful lake. Electric and water, level gravel pads which are friendly to bigger rigs. Office staff is friendly and helpful. Online booking is new and nice, small fee but worth it. Please don't camp here, we love it and want to be able to make reservations. (Smiley)

Great, clean beach - shallow and perfect for little ones. Right next to the beach is Currently under construction, which made for a lot of noise.

Nice beach & clear water. Campsites are spacious and have electricity but NO water and NO sewer. There is a dump station.
