A beautiful spot on the Annapolis river. The (newish) owners have added some fun amenities: volleyball courts and horseshoe pits. The grounds are spotlessly clean and well looked after. Doreen is always welcoming and friendly and very accommodating. We love this peaceful little treasure!

Jeff’s Hideaway is a peaceful and hidden gem that I would highly recommend staying at the next time you’re looking for a place to stay with your kids. The park is family owned and operated. They offer great rates and provide a high level of service to those who stay there. The staff (family) will go above and beyond for you to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. During my recent stay, I was blown away by the pure generosity and friendliness of the staff. They have powered sites for RV’s with water hook ups and fire pits. They have tent sites as well as a number of cabins with AC, full bathrooms, kitchenettes and TV’s. There is a store, laundry and a building with restrooms and showers. For the kids, there is a swimming pool, a play park, and a cabin with games if it’s a rainy day. The park runs event weekends throughout the summer that will make your kids feel special. Be it Christmas in July, Halloween in July, fireworks or a movie night; there’ll be tons of games, treats and activities for your little ones to take part in. The location of the park is perfect to operate from if you plan on visiting many of the towns on the west coast of the province. I found you could reach most tourist sites within a half hour to a hours drive in any direction. If you’re looking for family fun and an affordable vacation, Jeff’s Hideaway is the place to go.

After our airbnb cancelled on us last minute we needed somewhere to stay and this place was able to offer us a two bedroom cabin that accommodates all our needs and was even better than the place we originally booked! The cabin we stayed in was quaint but had more amenities than expected (oven, toaster, full set of dishes, etc.). Highly recommend this hidden gem.

Out of all the campgrounds we've visited this is the only one we have been back to multiple times. They put a ton of effort into having all kinds of different fun events throughout the year, the private tenting spots are amazing. I can't say enough good about this place, If I ever consider a seasonal spot this would be the one.
