Where to start. First off, I can't wait to bring my kids back here. They would love all the exploring. It's not fair to say it has a nice garden. It has an amazing 17 acres of beautiful, unique, stunning gardens and landscaping with bits of whimsy, care and dedication throughout. I can't even imagine how many floral varieties they have on hand. Pathways throughout, adorable little hand painted mailboxes scattered throughout with information on the part of the garden you will be entering. I cannot overstate how thrilled I was by all of this. I spied sheds of Christmas decor waiting to go up, so I can only imagine how magical it must be at Christmastime. I also took a peek at the pool. Very nice pool and jacuzzi. Great dog run yard, too! I spoke at length with a groundskeeper who was very sweet and told me even more about the grounds. I love that every room has their own enclosed patio overlooking the garden areas with access's to the pathways. The wedding area and gazebo were lovely as was the covered patio. I can't wait to see wedding photos here. Our room was very nice. Roomy and comfortable. I like that you can adjoin rooms on either side of you. I also like being able to park right outside the door. Did I mention this place is not very expensive? Thank you for a lovely stay.

Great stay for a night! The room was nice and big, the bed comfy. I loved the iron headboard too. I didn't even mind the 1950's pink bathroom as everything was very clean and well kept. I appreciated the desk in the room as I had some work to do. Older TV though, one of the big box ones, seems like it wouldn't be too expensive to upgrade to small flat-screens with a better picture. The grounds were beautiful and I really really appreciated how they were pet friendly, I had two big dogs with me and they weren't a problem. Pool and hot tub were open and so was the pool bar. Hot tub was lukewarm, and pretty gross to be honest with dirty colored water. But the pool was great. My daughter and her friend really enjoyed it. Staff was friendly and their breakfast solution during COVID was innovative and yummy. We will definitely be back next time we're in Cottage Grove!

What a wonderful find! My wife and I stopped for a night last Wednesday on our way home and were very happy with the room. Everyone was friendly and professional. The pool and hot tub were wonderful . Our dinner was great with excellent. Service. Some might find the atmosphere in the restaurant a little dated, but we enjoyed it. We have already recommended this place to friends and family. We enjoyed the gardens on the way out to finish a lovely stay.

Nice room with a patio which I imagine would be lovely in a non-winter season. We walked all around the gardens on paths and enjoyed the fountains. The live music in the lounge at night was a great way to end the evening. Our first room had a faulty heater, so we were quickly moved to an adjacent room. I would recommend this place if you need a place for a family gathering since there are adjoining rooms and gardens to hang out together. Very friendly staff.

The grounds are beautiful. They have amazing gardens to explore. The meeting rooms were beautiful and the staff was on top of all our needs! Our hotel room was a bit dated and needed better cleaning. We found garbage and a lighter in the couch and grocery bags behind the TV. The rooms were also very dark, perhaps because all the light fixtures were of very very low wattage.
