Not worth calling it a "resort". I am a little taken aback - and I am not the only one - that the pool is locked even at 8 am. Nowhere is it posted when the pool opens or closes. The office doesn't open till 9 am and nobody is available for anything before that. Update: The pool doesn't open until 10 am. 10 am!!!! What the heck. It is summer, it gets hot. The best time for a swim is early morning. And when I asked about the pool hours the attitude was one of total disinterest. The bathrooms and laundry room were hot and stuffy. Easy access to 101 North, but quite the detour to 101 South, or to the gas station on the other side of 101 - you have to go North on 101, exit and get on again to go South to the Gas Station. It is generally a nice, well maintained and clean lot. Lots of beautiful trees, some sites have great shade and privacy hedges, but on my side of the lot the hedges were so low they didn't offer much privacy, and in the back of the site were a bunch of weirdly arranged bushes that totally limit the back-in depth. Hookups are at the back of the sites making it difficult for campers with connections in the middle. The lanes are wide and offer plenty of space to back in, even with a large trailer. They mention a general store as part of their amenities. I went to get some milk, as one would expect to find a small selection of groceries in a general store. A couple of wood shelves, mostly empty except for a couple of toys and knickknacks... A couple bottles of wine, some soda, and ice. That's the general store. If you boast about a general store, you need to have stuff in it for sale. Otherwise, close it and take it off your amenity list. The office staff is friendly but not very interested or proactive. Doesn't engage in conversation or make you feel valued as a guest. More of an inconvenience or nuisance. Out of all the Sun Outdoors resorts I have been to, Vines is the most disappointing. Especially for the price. Wouldn't seek it out for an extended stay, but would consider it for a quick stop over night on the way.

GUEST BEWARE! They have COCKROACHES!! I took this photo about a week ago by the pool, and this morning my husband killed one on the back wall along the freeway. ALSO the bathrooms/showers has no ventilation or air/heat because the HVAC has been broken for nearly a year now. So hold your breath when entering both the men's and women's restrooms here. UPDATE.. Nothing has changed after one year.

The company I work for has RV here and I get to stay here while I’m building an Aquatic Complex at the local high school. It’s conveniently located just north of town and the staff work diligently to keep the park clean I had to add to my original review because I just discovered the library because my wife gave me a box full of books she wanted to donate so I discovered a treasure trove of cool stuff

Terri is very accommodating especially with a toddler! My son loves her everytime he would come see her in the office! The pools, pull through lots, and dog areas are very well kept and manicured! We will definitely be back!

Very beautiful place, peaceful. Everybody is so kind. Staff included. There is an area for dogs to play and it’s pretty family oriented, kids can play safely outside. Great place.

For a Sun outdoor and the price per night this one didn't hold up to the name. You were lucky to get hot water in the showers. Our site also has muddy tire tracks through it. Which isn't normal for a Sun outdoor. However the pool area was very nice. The bathrooms were very clean. Overall the park was in great condition.

Terri was absolutely AMAZING! She went far and beyond in meeting my husband’s and my experience in Paso Robles. She warmly welcomed us, guided us on attractions we were interested in and was genuinely kind and attentive! I’ve owned and operated several businesses and if I hadn’t retired I would most definitely try and hire her myself in a lead management position. Her patience and professionalism is an attribute to Vine’s RV Resort. Our stay was pleasant, quiet and inviting. Thank you Terri for being such a wonderful host! Brian & Kerry Hughes

RV Park with rentals per day, week or monthly. Pets welcome but not always child friendly. Full hookups including free cable but poor Wi-Fi. An office with a small store and very often rude employees. Short staffed security but hard workers. A nice fenced area with jacuzzi, 2 pools-one heated the other cold, lounge chairs and umbrellas. Small inside workout room, laundry room and bathroom/shower facilities but water pressure and hot water are terrible. Restroom hours keep getting shorter plus office is now closed Saturday and Sundays. A large patio area with tables, chairs and one large propane BBQ grill. A big clean rec room with 2 pool tables, a shuffle board and ping pong table, furniture, fireplace and 2 TV's. Patio and Rec room are great for B.D.'s and family gatherings. One very huge drawback is a horrible cockroach infestation in the entire park and they will get into your RV.

In the past, I would have given 5 stars. Sites are nice, but where did the tables go? One of the pools isn't heated at all! WHY! The other pool was a great temperature, BUT there were some kind of black bugs in the water swimming. I have a lot of bites! What's up with that!! Years ago, one pool was for families, and one was adults only. It was much nicer.

My boyfriend is a Lineman and we travel for his work. They got us a spot within a week and we stayed for about 6 months. Wonderful neighbors, great atmosphere, awesome pool and good dog park! The whole process was very easy and we felt very comfortable here! If we ever come back to Paso we know where to stay!

First I want to say that this was the most reasonable priced resort for a three day weekend. We have a nice pull through spot paid 100.00 a night. The discrimination says picnic table. We did not bring our folding table. Well guess what...no tables are available. The park is in the process of replacing all the tables. The shipment they received went to the full time people that live here in the park. The entire perimeter of the park is full timers. I regret being cheep and not staying at one of the other resorts. They offer nothing here. No music, wine tasting, nothing. They have a bar but I guess it's seasonal.

This rv resort is nice, I only rate it a three today because they ran out of propane. Showers were cold, hot tub was cold. This place tends to attract a lot of construction workers, private contractors so spots are limited. Pull through a are nice and long. It does have a club house, 2 pools and hot tub. When we don’t have our kids we like staying here.

The office staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to help. The sites and the facilities (laundry, showers, pool area, etc.) are kept very clean and orderly. The security guys do great to make everyone feel safe. Overall, the entire park is very well maintained. This is a great place for families, couples, or singles working in the area.
