Very clean campground with very clean and spacious RV lots! Good location to Traverse City and surrounding areas. Friendly and helpful staff. Didn't use the pool, but it looked very clean. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back...thank you!

We stayed ay Vista Green RV Resort in August 2025 on site 51 which is a great site! We used the pool multiple times and it's cleaned daily. Some of the sites are owned and they hosted a Saturday evening party in the clubhouse. There was food & music! Everyone staying there was invited! The managers, Greg & Kim were very accommodating and friendly.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Vista Green RV Resort. It was easy to locate, the spots were large and the amenities were nice. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. There is much to do in the area-we had a wonderful time exploring the sites and sounds and tastes. We would highly recommend a visit to Vista Green RV Resort.

Everyone working at the park was very friendly and accomodating. The grounds were well kept and extremely nice. The restrooms were cleaner than any park I have ever been to. There were daily planned activities (optional) and the rec room was open late. There was a big fire pit and the firewood was provided. We had a group of ten visiting and there wasn't a complaint from any of us. Two things that I wasn't prepared for- cash wasn't accepted and smokeless firepits on sites only. Overall, I would definitely visit there again due to the friendly, helpful staff; quiet, relaxed atmosphere; cleanliness; and amenities.

This is our first time here. We are here with a group of 10 motorhomes. The management here can not be beat, they are wonderful as we worked with them for 9 months to pull this rally off. The park is large and very spacious and well taken care of. Their clubhouse and amenities are second to none. Highly recommend. The RV park was easy to get to and in a convenient location for our travels. We weren't far from Traverse City also and was able to enjoy the city without the congestion and noise in the evenings. It was nice to come home to a quiet, peaceful place. The management were very helpful and pleasant. The park was clean and sites were large and easily assessible.

We were in Site# 4A (premium site). We had Full hook- up with a blacktop pull-through. We travel towing a 14 foot trailer and were able to fit both in our pull through site along with my jeep. The site was easy to level. Our site was not shaded with limited trees. This was a smaller lot with our neighbors fairly close. The lot comes with a concrete patio with picnic table. There was not a fire ring since only propane fires are allowed. There is free WiFi. They do not offer Cable TV but there are many local channels. There is an adult pub-style game room with poker tables, a large tv, a table shuffle board, air hockey game, foosball table, and board games. There is a community catering kitchen located in their activities center. They do not provide garbage service at your site so you must walk to garbage dumpster. This can be a long distance for some. You are allowed to ride personal golf carts. They also allow you to rent golf carts. It is beneficial to have a golf cart to get around since it is a large campground. We have our own e-bikes which helped. They do have a large heated Swimming pool and an adults only hot tub. There is a fitness center. They have quite a few ponds throughout the campground. There is not a Playground. They offer pickleball courts. There is not a general store nor snack bar/restaurant on site. The streets are paved and good for riding bikes. This is solely an RV park. They do not have any cabins to rent or any tent areas. The showers are located in the activity center. These are typical stalls. There is a great area to hang clothes and store your toiletries in the shower stall. These are kept very clean. There is a laundry facility. There are approximately 4 washers and 4 dryers. They allow you to use cash or an app. It is approximately $2.25 to wash and $2 to dry a load. They do not have a fenced in dog park. There are areas to walk dogs though. Bugs/gnats were a small issue and bug spray was needed. There is supposedly a mowed trail to hike off of the campground (about 3 miles) but I was unable to locate it. Some fun things to do outside of the campground are the shops (Front Street) & water activities in Traverse City, the local wineries/vineyards, and the DNR Outdoor Shooting range (5 miles away & free to the public). We ate at Yankee Boy where all of the locals hangout. Excellent food (no alcohol served).

We had a wonderful two month stay at this beautiful resort! Here you will be surrounded by woods yet still close to all the amenities one would need, perfect for a weekend getaway or a long term rental. The resort itself has very nice amenities, our favorite and most used were the heated pool and golf cart rentals. Everyone I encountered here was very polite and the staff will go above and beyond to help as well! Added bonus were the beautiful sunsets and Northern Lights we got to see! If our travels ever take us back this way we will be certain to stay again!

Aug 6-Sept 10, 2022. Married couple in their 40s with two small dogs. Live and work FT in our 2021 42 ft 5th wheel. Their website is set up to deceive. REGARDLESS of what the map on their website shows only sites 1-22 are actually completely finished. They are the beautiful sites with the stamped concrete and rolling lawns you see in the picture. These sites are all OWNED. Not by seasonal campers but by seasonal owners/residents. You will not get one of these spots if you call to book a spot. Sites 23-32, 39-51 and 78-83 are mostly finished but they are not the beautiful sites you see on the website. They are still working on getting some of the lawn and sprinkler systems installed. Some of these sites are also owned. The A pull through sites are finished and long but very skinny. Sites 32-38 are in swamp every time it rains even a little. We ended up in site 35 you can see the pictures yourself. The rest of the sites do not exist. We had booked a pull through, but when we got there we were told that they are not guaranteed and they were all full. I was not told this could happen on the phone, when I paid in full in April. We were then told we would be going to spot 29. However, there was someone in 29. The person taking us to our site looked around and said-I guess 35 is open. Take that. The pipes for the irrigation system were not even buried yet. When I went to complain I was told a variety of things. We were told we could be moved to one of the pull throughs in a few days. But we were already set-up and would have had to move on a workday. We declined. That was the only offer of any type of correction or compensation or apology. We were not offered any refund if we left or we would have. A few days into our stay they buried the irrigation pipes by hand. However, one of the pipes must have been broken or leaking because the site became a swamp every night. It rarely dried up. The pool and the community room and area is BEAUTIFUL. However, if you are not an owner you will get dirty looks and snotty comments if you attempt to use them. We gave up. There is only one community fire pit that is right in the middle of all the owner lots which was very uncomfortable. The website says there are activities and get togethers but we never saw or heard of any. Maybe they were only for owners? It has been 17 days since we pulled out and today I got a text telling me I owed them for electric. I paid a total of 1495 for 35 nights and now I am also being charged for electric. We were not aware that this was not included in the 1495. The area and the weather were both beautiful, but we have never been so happy for a moving day. We have been all over the country and never found a place where we felt legit scammed first by the website but then by management acting like it was normal that we should pay that much to be in a swamp and we should not believe our lying eyes. This was a negative experience and you could not pay us to stay there again.

If you want to have a fire at your campsite or have kids, don’t book here. The place is nice and clean but online if you look at the rules there is only a few, when you check in, three pages of rules. Kids are only allowed a small section of the pool, no playground, it’s pretty much a retiree campground, super quiet. If you’re on family vacation just look elsewhere that’s all I’m saying. If the website were up to date to manage expectations I’m sure this place would be great for the intended customer, but not us.

Outstanding people that run an own the property. Super clean always. Manicured weekly but feels like it is daily. Get togethers for the park on Fridays. You can relax in peace and quiet and you are 20 min from local attractions, grocery store, and more. You will miss out not staying at vista green. John and Bill are on property always

We booked Vista Green RV Resort for a months stay while traveling this Summer. This is not a campground. This is truly a resort. The sites are all concrete and spacious. All roads are paved. The facility and grounds are meticulous. There are Pickle Ball courts, a large pristine pool with separate areas for adult and children. The Clubhouse has a laundry, workout room and a children’s area. Friday nights there is a meet and greet. We attended all during our stay and enjoyed chatting and sharing Stories. We took a 2 mile walk through some of the most beautiful fields and Ponderosa Pines. If you like to explore Travers City(spectacular lakes), Sutton Bay, Torch Lake, Wineries and many more attractions are within driving distance. We ate breakfast several times at Yankee Boy restaurant which is just down the street. A side note: Water quality is very important to us as we have a parrot. While traveling for several months the water at Vista Green tested and tasted the best on our trip. Thank you John, Bill and Trish for a fabulous visit. We highly recommend Vista Green Resort. We will definitely stop when we are in the area again. Jack, Maureen and Angel
