Incredible beauty! Campgrounds for tents and RV. Playground, little beach, Pavillion to fish off, trails..we have not visited the waterfalls yet, or the trails since we're brand new to Blairsville. But it's jaw dropping beauty! A must to visit :)

Stayed here for an extended weekend in Cabin 28 with the family. The check in and out process was easy and our cabin had everything we needed. We had a great time. The park is well maintained with clean facilities. Various levels of trails for hiking or running enthusiasts. There is also 18 holes of mini golf and paddle boating (seasonal). Definitely will visit again.

We drove up here from Southwest Florida to spend our weekend here. From hikes between one hour and up to 10 hours within the park there are plenty of other things to do. We stayed in a cabin and enjoyed every minute of the stay. Staying here allowed us to explore the town of Helen and nearby waterfalls. For food we stopped at a grocery store and bought food for our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely love the state park! This was the first time that me and my family have ever been there and it did not disappoint. Our first campsite we stayed was right beside the bath house. Which I thought might be a little crowded but it had plenty of space and great for people watching! A beautiful stream behind it where I actually watched some trout swim up stream. We eventually was able to book additional campsite to extend our week. This was only a few spots away where we have started our week. If you look at the map online you'll see that there are different sections of the park for RVs of different lengths. The ones marked in yellow or 40-ft sites the other section and red are for 25 ft sights. You're allowed to have one tent with an RV. There's even a pioneer section that is much further in the woods and away from everybody....! The hike around the lake is absolutely breathtaking. On a sunny day.... chef's kiss!!! This trail is easy to walk and we even took our dogs with us. Do the extra hike and go down the damn so you can see the fall up close!! We truly enjoyed ourselves playing a round of mini golf too. There are two 18 holes course. This park truly has everything that you could want. Mt. Views, Hiking, fishing, mini golf, playground, and a community campfire area where there was a s'more event! The park rangers and staff are truly friendly and helpful. Additionally, there are volunteer campsite host sprinkled throughout the park to help and that take care of the park. This park is truly a gem in the state of Georgia and I can see why that people book a year in advance to come. Super pet friendly and kid friendly!!! Oh if you are going to ride bicycles you do need a helmet but if you forgot your helmet The visitor center has one for you to use while supplies last. Can't wait to come back!!

This is a great place for an easy hike. I spoke with the park officers, and they were very pleasant. I have been here several times over the decades and have always enjoyed it.
