We enjoyed the beautiful grounds, well groomed short wooded trails, sandy beach, kayak rentals, and appreciated the clean bathrooms and roomy showers. Just 20 minutes to Rockford for the biking trail head at Wolverine shoe store.

We had a great time camping, swimming, playing on the playground and riding bikes around. The staff was so friendly. The only issue was the horse flies

Love this campground. I’ve visited recently for a family vacation. The lake has a couple feet of soft algae on the beach shore but overall the sand is very clean and soft. Lots of places for boats to dock or just meet up. Black flies were terrible this week. Much more of a family camp than a party camp. Decent skate park in Greenville . There is also Walmart, Aldi and tons of other places within a short drive.

We got the Perrfect site with the perfect fall views of all the colorful trees, leaves, cliff & lake as well as the sunset & sunrise on the water! Campground has warm, large, well-kept & clean facilities- several stalls in both mens & women's sections, a private restrm & a number of big showers rooms with privacy doors. Camp store has lots to offer- 3-4 slushy flavors to chose from was the kids highlight that wkend! Staff is super friendly too (but no thank you to their pet tarantula spider!! 😬) . The beach area was impressively large with nice clean sand & play area, space to run around & build castles or catch minnows. We lost a lot of fishing lures to trees near the dock but good fun was had. Sites are all large with the nice sturdy longer picnic tables & nice big campfire rings. Some spots with cement pads & others gravel. Several full hook up options or just basic water & electric or rustic tent sites. Playground was also decent, perfectly located in the center view near restroom facilities. Kids got a lot of bike riding in around the campground as well. Onky thing we thought was super weird was they priced the wood $1/piece (or $1/log) which we found really odd. Normally u just buy like 6-8 pieces in a bundle for like $5-$6 & a lot of places will just deliver to ur site. We had to go pay for each piece & go pick it all out ourselves. That feels expensive & tedious than usual but ok. Otherwise, We were quite impressed with how nice everythung was considering the low price. Will definitely be coming back next year!!
