This park was awesome. The only complaint that I have is, their grass really needed cutting. I had to use my weed eater to cut around our site. Some others brought their lawn mower. Other than that, it was great. Thank you

I like this park. We've been twice since May and really like the views, the spots are decent, and the water is nice and cool even when almost 100° outside. My ONLY complaint is both times we've been I had wished the grounds were maintained better. Trampling through tall grass is no fun.

Hi y’all! We spent the weekend at Speegleville Park and had a wonderful and restful time. Great spaces between campers, clean bathrooms and park. Deers watching you watching them, squirrels bustling and oh the ants and bees on top of their game as well 😞 My husband and I loved being right next to the water, great walks with our dog over this park Never the same trail twice. Make this a stop on your next camping adventure! We had spot 27 and will definitely request it again. Not sure why this review requested information on a hotel.

Great campground (not a hotel!) just outside the noise of Waco. Corps of Engineers park, great value with my Senior America Parks Pass. Fairly level site overlooking the lake! Tons of wildlife all around! Each site has a covered patio area with picnic table and grill on hard gravel. Love this place!

We stayed at an RV park in Waco, Texas, and Lake Waco was our backyard! It was a beautiful park, tucked back away from the city, with stunning views of the lake and nature. Our trailer had the lake behind it, and there were grills, picnic tables, and fire pits with firewood at each spot. There were also hundreds of deer everywhere. We’d look outside, and deer would be right beside our trailer. We had electric and water hookups, no sewer, but they had very spacious and convenient dumping stations. They also had shower rooms, which was nice. I loved how peaceful and beautiful this park was. Everyone was so kind, and I will come back to this park. We stayed in spot #2, which I highly recommend! Plus, the park is only about 10-15 minutes from Waco!
