Very nice grounds. We didn’t stay here, came for the sporting clays. The grounds are very nice and very well kept. Lodge is very nice people a super friendly. The sporting clay course was a lot of fun. Challenging for sure. Over all great place. Plan on coming back.

Don't go here with your kids. Or at all really. I used to take my family here 2 times a year for 7 years . The owners and office workers pick and choose who has to follow the rules. Who gets away with what. They double book spots and then expect the veteran campers whom paid and reserved the YEAR PRIOR to suck it up. Then they randomly just cancel your reservation because you have a diffent opinion than them. Ill GLADLY spend my money somewhere else. 😌

A very fun place to stay with friends to camp & ride. Has a decent bar and the folks are very friendly year round. They have a shooting area for trap shooting down by the river. The views are nice from the pool area. The pool gets a little crowded in the warmer months, which a couple times witnessed some interesting interactions... The RV spots are a little too close together and this place should be paved for the prices.$$$ The dust never stops. I will never return to this place due to the ANTI Off-roading stance they have taken. There are other ways to address issues but penalizing your draw doesn't fix the problem. Hopefully the bay area yoga retreats and frisbee leagues keep your resort full.

We had a great time with our travel trailer at Walker River resort. The resort is very clean and well kept. We went midweek and it was not crowded. There was no noise and we were given a prime spot overlooking the ponds. The walk down to the river was nice. They have a gazebo and BBQs next to the river and a large grassy area as well. We will definitely be back

Walker River Resort used to be my favorite place to camp, until we came back during our 10th wedding anniversary on June 18th 2025. We noticed a huge wildfire breaking out nearby, we decided to go into the check in office to inquire about the fire as well as information on the hot tub that clearly had a confusing sign next to the button for the jets indicating that the hot tub was broken. The woman was seen sitting down with a individual at the bar when we came in, she walked over and I began asking about the fire, her response was "you don't need to worry" then when I asked about the hot tub, she said it's working and took off to go back to sit down at the bar. Poor customer service skills and lack of communication really turn me off! I will not be returning to this once favorite place. People don't realize that one uncomfortable moment puts a bad taste in someone's mouth. Its a shame that hospitality isn't a thing anymore. To make someone feel welcomed isn't a thing anymore. :( I find it very interesting how I received more information about the fire now that I have left a review, as opposed to my initial request. If you live by your statement in providing a good experience to those who stay at your resort, then I'm dumbfounded as to why we were dismissed in the first place. To provide good hospitality to any human is to leave them with a good feeling before they leave your presence. Better than they arrived, that's what I call an exceptional experience. That my friend brings people back, word of mouth spreads but so does poor behavior......
