Trying to be unbiased and sticking to the facts. Actual stars awarded: negative 2*. Here it goes, it's going to be a long one: We arrived in the area at 10 pm after encountering 2 passes that were closed for the season and many RV parks that were closed for the season. We saw the $30 sign for Walkers RV park, finally found an entrance and drove into the park. The space is tight so couldn't drive around much. Also it was pitch dark at the time, save the few twinkling lights on the HOUSES in the park. We saw no sign of an Office anywhere, my husband also went looking for someone. We also didnot see any signs of automated payment as we did in Death Valley. We are not dine and dash kind of folks, running out with a very visible RV would be very difficult. We had every intention to pay in the morning when we could find an office or a human being. We found a spot. We parked. All hookups were already being used by adjoining RVs. We desperately needed the amenities as we have 3 little kids and a senior in the RV. It was a cold night. Out of courtesy we didnot go knocking on the other RVs as it was late and made do with what we had. It was essentially boon docking. At around 7 am, we had a rude awakening. An old bearded man started banging on our RV. He kept threatening to call the cops and kept referencing our guts for parking there. Would not listen to reason. We are a homely looking brown family, we are not scary looking lol. He would not listen to reason. Told us to get out and wouldn't even accept our payment even though my husband tried several times. He gave us 10 mins to leave before he would call the cops. We left while my kids were still sleeping and our tea was on the stove. I wish we had stayed and dealt with the cops instead. We have paid in the morning many times in the past and had no problems. Two words: trailer trash.

Stay away!!!. We were looking for a place get some shut eye and it was late night on a cold November night, the sign said overnight camping $30 so we pulled in. Not my first after hour camping , typically you just pay in the morning since the office is closed, this grumpy old guy comes hard knocking at my rv and starts threatening me and my family with sheriff for pulling in without informing him. The office was closed. His response was I am here 24 hours. Just happened when we pulled in he was not there to be seen and expected me knock on every single door at midnight. The park itself rundown, rv electric wire zigzags over from site to site because not all sites has hookups. If your looking for peaceful rest go somewhere else even boondock is way better. If you want a horror show pay 30$.

Clean, friendly people who are always eager to help each other and total strangers out when help is needed

The people were really nice, and each site has electricity and water. Plus all the people we talked with were very friendly. We were in a VW Camper and the manager called someone to let us borrow an RV power converter. What's weird is that the website and one sign out front says it's 25 bucks a night, but another sign and the owner said 30. Either way, it's a simple place to crash for a night if you're passing through the area. Heads up though, they only take cash, laundry is 1 dollar for the washer and another for the dryer, and there is one little general store with an ATM. Other than that, the place isn't fancy or anything, but for 30 bucks I'd say it was worth it.

Its a quite little mobile home and RV park with a public park right out back for the kids and it has a community center out back and in the RV park you have a ladies and gentlemen showers/bathrooms and a laundry room.
