Has great camping spots. Campground is clean and pretty mellow. Customer service could use some work some of the staff is a little abrasive not all. The store hours are not very convenient for campers and could do some more activity’s for kids. We stayed three times this summer and all they had for activity’s was a movie night one night out of all of our stays which my kids did really enjoy.

Celeste was so friendly and accommodating when we needed to change our campsite. We were directed to another site and liked it very much! The campground was very neat and clean, as well as the Office, Laundry Room & Rec Room. We will definitely make Reservations next summer. Walnut Grove is a very quiet place to just relax!

We had such a fantastic experience here. Our 2 sons with Autism were greeted several times by various staff including the manager Shelley. Upon arrival our original site was not available and we got to choose a different site. The staff including the manager were constantly out on the grounds working and always waving and smiling at guests. It is not easy to take autistic children to a unknown place, but yet they felt comfortable and had so much fun! Thank you to the staff for a week of fun! We will be back!

My husband and I recently stayed at Spacious Skies Campgrounds - Walnut Grove in Alfred, ME, and we had a wonderful experience! We booked one of their tiny cabins and were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and well-equipped it was. The cabin had A/C, a small fridge, a TV, and three beds — perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors. It also came with clean bed sheets and towels, which was a nice touch. Outside, we had our own picnic table and fire pit, which made for some cozy evenings. The shower and restroom facilities are located in the main building, just a short 2-minute walk from our cabin — very convenient and everything was clean and well-maintained. The campground itself is mostly geared toward RVs, but they do have three of these cute tiny cabins. There's a pool, some arcades, and a small shop on-site, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a great place to unwind and enjoy nature without giving up comfort. We’d definitely come back!

My wife and I stayed here 6/13/2025to 6/15/2025, Fathers Day weekend for the first time. We only live about 20 minutes away and had never heard of this campground before. We got an unbelievable site and had an incredible time. The Manager Shelly was so professional and polite. We also got to meet one of the maintenance employee, Noah, and the front desk person, Celeste they were both very polite and helpful. The campground was very neat and groomed. We were very surprised at the size of the sites and how easy it was to bring in our 5th wheel. We were told about their Loyalty program and signed up when we got home. We will definitely be going back again this year.
