This is such a beautiful park! We spent one night and loved it so much. The pavement is all new and smooth throughout the whole park. The water and sump station is all new and tidy with two spaces. Gorgeous slice of wooded paradise in the middle of fa fields!

Plenty of trails from handicapped ♿ to mid-level. Well maintained. No trash, recently oiled roads. Some color in the leaves. Hardly anyone there but we went on a not so nice to re-create an early date years ago. Love it.

This State Park is one of the best in the area. It's been well taken care of, both the grounds and facilities. There are many hiking and walking paths thru the woods. The lake is beautiful and a pretty good size for those who like to fish. There are several floating docks all around the lake. Most docks have stairs and ramps. The concrete walkways and ramps helps those with disabilities to safely navigate each space. It looks like a great place to camp, hold family reunions, or just hang out for the day. I will definitely be returning.

This is a gorgeous place to explore! I saw many birds and some turtles. It appears that there was a massive cicada event here based on the evidence I found. I explored a few trails, and one of them was paved, which was pretty cool. The views were nice, and there were restrooms near each trail head.

Very nice campground with a lot to do.It’s a very kid friendly louder but not crazy place. It is a busy, busy, busy campground. They tore the observatory down but the trail is nice it gets pretty close to the embrrasse river but your going to do a little bush wacking to get to it.

We are camping for 2 nights/3 days in camp site #31. It is a very nice site- surrounded by trees and it is a level site. We have walked many miles and we're pleasantly surprised to find the Cafe open. We have actually been there twice- once for ice cream and then for lunch- fish and chips- all good!! We really love this campground.

Amazing little park with some me great well maintained trails a large lake with kayak rental. One of the coolest things is the abandoned observatory and is a must see when in the area.
