The staff are great. Very friendly. Good camp sites. The only bad thing is they don't have full hookups. The fish cleaning station is great. The bathrooms are a little dated but still very good. The bank fishing is not good in the campground but the boat launch is pretty good for bank fishing.

We loved our stay Hardridge Creek Campground. Will definitely be back. Clean, large campsite with some right on the lake. Nice restrooms which were cleaned daily. Dog friendly.

We stayed one night passing through on Pirates Cove peninsula. The location was really nice but can’t say the same about the old curmudgeon fella who greeted us at check-in. Our only interaction with a representative of this park. Thank goodness he didn’t ruin it for us. He had a really poor attitude, and seemed to have a negative response to every comment or question I had. I suppose he thought it was easier to be nasty than to be helpful and nice. The stay itself was beautifully scenic with the big lake on either side of us. The pull-through spot was extra nice since we were towing a vehicle behind our camper. Camping spot 5-star, interaction at check-in 1-star.

This is such a great campground! We stayed in Site 5, but there are other sites that we would also like to camp in, like #69! The bathhouses are cleaned at least twice per day. There is one in the Bayshore Loop, and the other is in the Shady Oak Loop. The other loops do not have a bathhouse. We cycled on the campground roads and the hiking trails as well. There is a beach here, as well as a playground for kids. Because our RV does not have a bathroom, clean bathhouses are very important to us. Each bathhouse men's room has one handicap sink and regular sink, one urinal, one regular toilet and one handicap toilet, and one regular shower and one handicap shower. There is also a laundry room at each bathhouse. The lake is huge! So if you have any type of watercraft, it can be used here. The campsites are very spacious too!

Absolutely lovely time at this campground. The sites were very close together and we did not love how bright the street light was the whole night but we will try to get another site next time we visit! Beautiful facility though!
