Wapakoneta KOA Holiday

Get ready for a great new season!

Wapakoneta KOA Holiday is making plans ...are you? We are conveniently located (just a hop, skip, and a jump!) off I-75 between Lima and Dayton on Ohio's west side. We are in the perfect location for road-weary travelers to pull in, rest, and get moving again, choosing an easy Pull Thru/Full Hook-up site. Our Back in/Full hook-up sites offer green space, and the patio sites conveniently provide 'easy' camping with seating and a propane grill already at the site. Your four-legged family members are always welcome and can stretch their legs in the two fenced-in dog walks. Adults and kids alike will enjoy the heated pool from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Remember to order your pizza and snacks! - think 'less work' and 'more relaxation'!

Historic Wapakoneta is a thriving small town with cozy restaurants, antiques, boutiques, and shops! Get outside and explore the many area parks, or get inside and visit the Wapakoneta Museum or Armstrong Air & Space Museum! Trails don't have to be hiking and biking! Check out the Brews N Vines Trail or the Moon Menu Trail, each a unique way to explore the area.

At the Wapakoneta KOA Holiday, come and see what is new! We are making plans and changes each and every day that will enhance your visit and camping experience!

This KOA is awesome! Karen and Kevin really made it an amazing experience. Their support for the customer is out of this world. Everything from picking up garbage constantly through the day to giving suggestions for a great restaurants and sightseeing. They also really helped us get in and out safely as some of the corners were tight. Everything was spotless. The bathroom / shower rooms were top-notch. The campground was quiet. You can really see the attention to care and the love they put into their jobs. I was traveling with my husband in a fifth wheel. But I would not hesitate to stay here on my own and my cabin. Felt totally safe. Looking forward to staying here again in the future. Thank you Karen and Kevin!

We have very much enjoyed the 3 months we have been here at this KOA. The staff has been amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better location to stay while being in the area for work. The park is clean and very well kept and we have zero complaints about noise at night. You have a great downtown area just a short drive away and easy access to I-75. There are also some great local restaurants nearby as well as popular chain locations. Be sure to check out the Armstrong space museum. All in all we will be a little sad to leave at the end of October.

Last minute stay to catch a night's rest, so didn't experience much of the campground, but was very nice and clean with incredibly pleasant staff (Theresa). Would definitely stay again!

Right off 75. The couple that run this location are very nice and helpful. The sites are a bit to close but they are easily accessible. Stayed in a spot that had full hook up. 30 amp

My family and I are new KOA members, having only previously stayed at two other KOA sites (one out of state). While this campground is smaller and older than the other two we stayed at, the bathrooms were clean, and campground was taken care of. Some of the campsites are small and they do not allow tents on RV sites (it is not published in the site descriptions when you book, so I am only mentioning this to save others trouble). The staff is exceptionally kind and hardworking. The food is delicious! I hope to stay here again sometime!
