Great park to access the beach and the Michigan dunes, even in late fall. In season it is likely jammed with parking at a premium. Restrooms were closed for the season however, an outhouse style was open without running water. And surprisingly clean. Great area for walking.

It was our first time visiting, and it was wonderful. The coastline of Michigan is full of wonder and beauty. I strongly suggest that you visit the Dune and Beach, it truly connect us with nature in the best sense.

It's our favorite beach to go to. On the north end you can take your leashed dogs too. That end is not a busy. Great views and hiking trails add to the beauty.

Staff at the entrance was super friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and fun. Tons of parking and the parking lots were very clean. Beautiful park. The Dunes were fun to climb. The beach was clean and busy but not overly packed. We had plenty of space to lay out. The restrooms were clean and pleasant.

Warren Dunes State Park is a perfect day trip from Chicago during the summer. The dunes themselves are breathtaking and arguably more impressive than the Indiana dunes. The beach is huge, massive, and clean, and the water is typically clear and gorgeous. The sand is soft and clean with minimal rocks. The food trucks are decent but not terribly overpriced - great for a quick bite. The facilities are clean and well maintained. Only criticism is the gift shop is quite overpriced, but that’s not surprising. We love making an early drive from Chicago, going to the beach for a few hours here, then checking out the local shops and restaurants around Three Oaks and New Buffalo.
