Took me boy there pon an autumns drive. Caves were more of a crease in the plates of the Canadian Shield. The Lord leaves this place early whenst the sun goes down and the woods can play tricks on you in the twilight so be sure to have a killing stick of blowing hammer on hand ifist thou beist lost in the woods past the suns lowering. Damned woods and there hidden truths. Dogs packs of such, seen again. And whoist be bold enough to embroider vests for them? Only the wicked.

This is an absolute gem of a conservation area. Tons of beautiful trails, kayaking, a beach and picnic space, amazing examples of unique geography like the kettles, and of course the super cool caves. If you haven't been to Warsaw since you were young on a field trip or the like, let this be your sign to visit again! Bring your hiking shoes, water and a head lamp for spelunking! If you think you'll be back for three or more visits definetely invest in a yearly pass. Car access is 20 per day or you can pay 75 for the whole year and bring a carload of friends whenever you like. Cannot wait to visit again in fall for the colours. ♡

The place looks magnificent and everything!! BUT THERE SHOULD BE PROPER TRAIL MARKINGS ON THE WAY, IT WAS SO FRUSTRATING, THERE WERE SIGNS THAT THERE IS ACTIVE BLACK BEAR IN THE AREA IN THE TRAIL BEGINING AND THEY DONT HAVE PROPER TRAIL MARKINGS AT SOME POINT. WE WERE LOST FOR LIKE 30 MINS AND KEPT GOING IN CIRCLES.😤 We weren't able to enjoy the trail because of that!!!!! But there were beautiful rock formations, disappearing river, falls, kettle formations, beach all along the trail. Caves are beautiful, there are many. Right now only cave 1 is open for people and YOU NEED HEAD GEAR WITH LIGHTS, phone flash lights wouldn't work. Wear proper active wear if visiting the cave. There's an entry fee for the conservation area. Giving a 3 star just because of the beauty of the place.

The place is beautiful and peaceful, especially if you enjoy nature and exploring caves, but only one out of six was fully open. If you’re claustrophobic or don’t like small, dark spaces, I wouldn’t recommend going inside the caves they’re tight and can be uncomfortable. Many trees were down due to this year’s freezing rain. Trails were okay but not very scenic. Entry is $20 a bit much given the current conditions.

If you’re looking for a perfect blend of outdoor adventure, natural beauty, and family-friendly fun, Warsaw Caves Conservation Area is an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, well-maintained, and welcoming the entire area was. The highlight, of course, is the cave system—a fascinating and truly unique experience. Crawling, climbing, and exploring through the various caves felt like a real adventure. Some are spacious and easy to navigate, while others are tight and challenging, giving everyone in the group a chance to test their limits. Make sure to bring headlamps or flashlights, sturdy shoes, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty—because you will be crawling! Beyond the caves, the scenic trails are beautiful and well-marked. The hike along the Indian River offers some stunning views and peaceful moments, especially near the limestone gorge. We also loved the lookout points—perfect for photos and taking in the natural surroundings. There are picnic areas, clean washroom facilities, and even camping spots if you want to make it a weekend getaway. The park staff were friendly, informative, and clearly care about the area. What really stood out to us was the variety of activities—whether you’re into hiking, caving, canoeing, swimming, or just relaxing in nature, there’s something here for everyone. It’s a fantastic place for kids and adults alike, and a wonderful way to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with nature. Highly recommend Warsaw Caves to anyone who enjoys the outdoors. We’ll definitely be back—next time with more friends and maybe even some marshmallows for the campfire!
