Enjoyed the camp ground. We were tent camping and the pads were good. No running water at the site and vaulted toilets so it is primitive camping so be prepared. Nice shade for my hammock.

Our stay in the glamping tents was really fun! They’re definitely the more expensive option, but it was easy. I’d come to this campground again- probably for a standard tent site. Bring bug spray, though- the more deet the better. The mosquitoes were absolutely awful

went in 2022 in July. the weather was excellent and the campground was beautiful! the creek and lake were cool and clear, great fishing and COLD swimming! sunsets and sunrises were beautiful and I felt a very deep spiritual connection to the land. I would recommend this campground to everyone.

The campground itself along with the people who ran it this year are fantastic! However, campsite number 12 SHOULD NOT be a campsite that is available for reservation. The site itself has a natural creek running just east of it and a portion of it splits off and runs directly through the site. As such, it is constantly a muddy mess to walk in. There is no level ground on the site and the picnic table itself sits on a slope preventing anything from sitting level. We intended on moving it however incredibly heavy and burdensome to do so. Aside from that, the table sits only 2-3 ft from the fire pit and makes for a major safety hazard. We were fortunate enough to have family members using the site right next to us and as such we spent the majority of time there vs our muddy swamp of a site.

Nice campground. There are only a few spots right on the lake (#7 and #6) but those are closest to the road and day-use area so it can get noisy. There is a creek running through the campground which is great if you have little ones. Camp hosts Jamie and Randy were super nice and very accommodating. They've got a water filling station too.

This is a primitive camping area in my opinion. The only potable water is near the entrance. A member of our group tried to fill his trailer but the threads on the spigot have been grinded away. I do not recommend tent camping here as most of the spots don't have good locations for tents. Most of the "campers" were trailers, RVs, or truck campers. There are only pit toilets, some that are somewhat near camping spots. For those wanting lake access, there are trails. But if you brought a kayak or SUP, I suggest driving to a parking lot for Lost lake or one of the other lakes nearby. Lastly, keep in mind that you're at 9,600 feet. We camped in a tent on Labor Day weekend. The nights were below freezing. It wasn't very pleasant.

Able to find a great spot on a weekday in late August after schools were in session. I would probably make a reservation in the future to guarantee a lake-side spot. The restrooms and campsites were VERY clean thanks to the hard work of Jody and Chris, the site managers.
