What mountain camping should feel like. Big trees, lots of shade, good space for the kids to play, especially if you book two sites next to each other. The restrooms must be getting renovated cause they were all closed, but the Honey Buckets were well maintained.

Nice campground in Big cottonwood canyon. Each campsite is clearly marked and has a picnic table and fire pit. Firewood is available for purchase. Restrooms were closed, but they did have porta potties.

Great campground near Brighton and if you're up for a bit of a challenge, Day's Fork is a really pretty hike heading up past the group site! 3 miles out, 3 miles back and 3,000 feet of elevation, but the views towards the top are gorgeous!

Fantastic place to camp. Had lots of spots open Sunday to Monday. We got a spot that has the best seclusion and privacy for a small tent (#47 btw). Uinta Ground Squirrels were fun to see.

Spruce Campground on Big Cottonwood Canyon Road is absolutely stunning, especially in the winter. The snow blankets everything, creating a peaceful and magical atmosphere. The trees look incredible covered in white, and the air is crisp and refreshing. The best part is the river that runs right by the campground. In winter, you can hear the gentle sound of the water flowing, even with snow all around. It adds to the beauty and makes the whole place feel like a winter wonderland. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy nature and the serenity of the season.

I hesitate to give this 5 stars because it's already a little too popular. This is one of our favorite places to get away each year. We've been doing it for over 30 years. You get a great temperature change from the valley, the smell of Pines is amazing, and the wildlife regularly passes through the camp grounds. The water trickling throughout the campground is perfect for a great night sleep in a tent or hammock. Most camp ground spots are fraud enough from each other that you get all the Privacy you need. There is fresh running water access everywhere and actual flush toilet bathrooms. There are also outstanding hiking trails in every direction and world-class biking trails within a few minutes of the campground. There are plenty of beautiful lakes also. This place has it all.

Beautiful, large, established and family friendly campground. Close to the Salt Lake Valley, Donut Falls Trailhead and a few nice ski resorts. Amazing staff and great camping "neighbors." We come as often as possible. Awesome amenities too!

I love the spruces, one of my favorites. We went last weekend and got our 35 foot bumper pull trailer into spot 77, and still had room for our truck. The turns to get out of the campground were very tight, but we made it. I love the pine trees and how shady it is. Wish it was a little easier for larger trailers. Also some sites are really close together. This is a great place for tent campers and smaller trailers. (I had made our reservation prior to getting a larger trailer, happy it worked ok, we were nervous)

Great and helpful camp directors. Very peaceful, close to trails and clean bathrooms. Will go back for sure
