This was an absolutely delightful place to camp for the weekend. I was here during the off-season (Mid-November) which made this place extremely quiet and peaceful. I'll also note that they have essentially stadium lights that light the place up amazingly, so I wasn't concerned at all about potential theft or break-ins. I'll absolutely try to stay here the next time I'm in town!

THIS IS A REVIEW ON THE WASHINGTON STATE FAIR!!! The fair was awesome. There's alot of good rides. There's 3 or 4 roller coasters, kamakise, vertigo, extreme scream, zipper and many more. They had concerts, rodeo, There's usually a monster truck rally one weekend. Alot of games to play and win prizes. Also there's the carnival food.

While this technically qualifies as an RV park, I'd more describe it as a large grass field with lots of full hookups. But that's okay, because we were visiting friends in Lake Tapps on this stop and that's all we needed. If you're looking for a place to park and sleep while doing stuff at the state fairgrounds, this is where you want to be. The grounds are right across the street. If you're looking for a full featured park with playgrounds, bath houses, etc, then you'll want to look elsewhere. My only concern is that the camp host was nowhere to be found during our entire stay. We didn't have any issues, so it wasn't really a problem. But if there had been, we'd have had to fend for ourselves.

No frills campground, but best in the area!!! Great price for FHU sites, cellular service is blazing fast on T-Mobile and Verizon. Be careful choosing your spot some of them get pretty big puddles, also check the power before you back in just to make sure it's working properly. Bill the camp host is very friendly and super helpful!! Great place to explore the area from!

Mayhem and destruction at its finest, figure 8, demo derby, bump to pass, boat races! Thank you evergreen speedway for sharing a little of your talents! In prior years I have purchased grand stand tickets, this go around I opted for box seats up front. While the seating up front might be cashier, the view is much better from the grands. I'll be back next year for sure!

Just tried to make reservations and was denied due to my RV being older that 2001. I was told the reason of this blanket policy was because they are in a protected salmon habitat that they can't allow any older vehicles because of fluid leakage that could potentially damage said habitat. Sounds reasonable until you find out it's just an age thing because there is no policy in place that checks all vehicles entering to make sure there is no fluid leakage regardless of age. I recently made a reservation and stayed at the California Expo in Sacramento and they also have a age policy but they also have a policy in place that determines if your vehicle is well maintained they will allow you to stay. This is how it should be rather than a blanket policy banning any RV older that 2001. Think classic retro RV's. Does anyone know if this is a privately run operation or run through the state? UPDATE: Washington State Fairgrounds RV park contracts out to a private company to run the RV park. They contacted me about my concerns and this is what they told me, it's their policy to not allow RV's older than 2001. They said they would allow me to make and pay for a reservation but when I got there the host would determine if my rig was acceptable and if it wasn't there would turn me away with no refund. Would any sane person agree to an arbitrary policy with no stated rules and conditions? No refund and no place to stay if the host on duty for whatever reason decides my rig is not acceptable. Who makes these policies up?

It's a mudhole this time of year and you can only stay 7 days. But, the Manager is a great .
