This is such an incredible RV community. My wife and I arrived in punta gorda days after hurricane Ian. The folks that manage this community are amazing and accommodating. The residents are truly great folks. Such a cool sense of community at waters edge. I hope to come back at least yearly. If you can get a spot, you’ve already scored. Enjoy it!!

We booked a site for eight days in February 2022 over the summer. Since we are considered daily we had to pay in full. If you booked for a week or month you only have to put down a deposit. We recently found out my husband has cancer. He is having surgery on December 1. Then following in January and February he will have radiation therapy 5 times a week. So unfortunately we will have to postpone our trip. We know there is no refund but we thought we could at least get a credit to use at a later date. But management will not allow that either. My complaint is that if we booked for a week we would only be losing the deposit. But since we booked for 8 days we are losing over $600. Plus it is prime season and I know they will be able to rebook that site. Management is heartless.
