The place was super cozy and we loved it. The room was beautiful and our view was stunning. If youre getting the large Hygee cabins, would definitely recommend units 20 or higher for the best view. Everything was neat and modern, an amazing take on glamping! One thing that was tough was having to walk to the bathrooms from our campsite which in 30 degree weather in the dark isnt fun. The other thing is its so easy to track dirt into the unit and the floors were so hard to keep clean. If Lumen staff is reading this , we have a couple recommendations: - Have a shoe brush outside of every unit so we can clean our shoes before going inside. Not only does this make cleaning the unit easier for you all, but it helps keep the floors clean so we can walk around barefoot in the unit. If not, some shoe rack solution inside would be nice. - a second dish wasking station on the other side of camp so we don’t have to walk all the way to the bathouse to wash our dishes - a big blanket would be so nice to have in the unit so we can enjoy the cold outside. Overall, would definitely recommend if you want a more camping style stay rather than a hotel style stay. Plus for the price, you can’t beat it!

Beautiful place and amazing accommodations! The views are amazing and there are lots of amenities that make your stay even more comfortable. I was a little worried about a shared bath house but it was beautiful and clean with helpful little products like lotion, ear plugs, makeup wipes and free women’s hygiene supplies. I only wish the weather would have shown up for me! Regardless it’s a lovely place and I hope I’m able to visit again soon.

Lumen Nature Retreat has quickly become my absolute favorite getaway in the White Mountains! Its the perfect balance of nature, comfort, and affordability. It’s glamping done right, all the beauty of camping without the dirt, bugs, or sleeping on the ground. You can choose from several thoughtfully designed stays, like the A-frame tents that keep you close to nature while still providing a luxurious queen bed and all-weather protection, or the refurbished trailers that offer a cozy, temperature-controlled space with minimalist Nordic charm. The bathhouse is one of my favorite parts, it’s modern, spotless, and fully temperature controlled with unlimited hot water (which is amazing for fall or winter stays). Each site comes with its own fire pit for cooking or relaxing under the stars, but you’re also just a short drive from great local restaurants in Lincoln or Franconia. They’ve thought of everything here, from firewood and essentials to all the small comforts that make a getaway easy and relaxing. Whether you’re looking for a romantic weekend, solo reset, or peaceful escape into nature without giving up modern comfort, I couldn’t recommend Lumen Nature Retreat more highly.

The place is beautiful and very welcoming; everything is so thoughtfully designed—the books, games, fireplace—it's all 10/10. The bathrooms are lovely and spotless, and they're also very well-equipped, from makeup remover wipes on up to the essentials! The directions are clear throughout, and they have excellent customer service. The location is fantastic and very easy to get to. I loved Lumen, highly recommend it, and we'll definitely be back! It's a place to visit in any season; it promises a great adventure. I'm a mountain woman, so this place is more than perfect for those who love luxury in the mountains!

Lumen was the perfect retreat for my husband and I to spend our honeymoon. It was quiet, cozy and clean. We stayed in a Hygge which was perfect. The bed was comfortable and cozy, the bedding was clean and fluffy, and the pillows were so good. We enjoyed the keycardless entry into our cabin and the camp store so we didn’t have to worry about remember a keycard. The contactless check in and out and easy access to support with a quick text was great, we didn’t feel like we were vacationing in a workplace. The bathhouse was always clean and the complimentary toiletries were great quality. The saunas were an amazing added bonus at no extra charge. Plenty of outlets in the cabin and even WiFi access if needed. The property itself was also clean, quiet and well taken care of. The surrounding areas are great for hiking. Much to enjoy and explore. We will definitely return.
