We did a tent site by the lake. It was clean, well kept, had an amazing view and we all had such an amazing time there🥰Definitely will be returning! The staff are phenomenal, one minor issue and they went above and beyond to resolve it as quick as possible and were absolutely great. So far this campground is our #1. The seasonals were friendly, respectful and welcoming. I'm impressed by the amount/variety of activities for young children, teens and adults as well. Check out their amenities tab and pics...So many more amenities than other campgrounds I've seen so far! Food truck with amazing food, mini doughnut truck on sundays i think,a little veggie stand and the camp store is huge! I cant wait to go back🙌💖

Visited this past weekend with my son for the first time. We stayed in our RV. This campground is in a beautiful area of New York State and convenient to get to from downstate. The campground was very accommodating with great customer service and fast communication. The site was clean and well maintained. The best part is how friendly everyone is. Not just the staff but the other campers are super friendly. Very family friendly atmosphere. They enforce the 5mph speed limit which is super important when you have a 3 year old riding their bicycle around. Easy to dump garbage, clean bathrooms, well maintained facilities. What else can you ask for. I’ll definitely be returning!

We stayed here during 4th of July weekend, I will say staff is very nice and helpful. They have a lot Of activities going on for adults and kids. My complaints are the crowded sites and sewer hook up is not sloped well I had issues even with my supports as did the sites around me. They have a lot of wood boards, pallets, and construction materials just laying around by the maintenance shed which is not appealing. There is also a lot of dust that gets on your stuff from the golf carts driving around all day.

Our first time at Waubeeka with a 3 and 5 year old using a travel trailer with full hook up for 3 nights. It was animal weekend and they had a lady showcasing a whole bunch of reptiles. A very nice event. There was also a whole bunch of kid activities and crafts. the playground was very large and modern. The bounce pad and waterslides was hit for the kids. There was a foam pit as well. Honestly there was way to much to list for things to do and see. We never left the grounds, there really was no need too. They literally had everything you could think of all on prem. This park does appear that most sites are seasonal members and is a golf cart type of community. What impressed me the most is it appeared to be zero tolerance for any type of speeding or disturbance. Everybody drove very slow and was extremely friendly. We were really impressed to say the least and will look forward to returning.

Amazing campground. This is normally a weekend family park that has a lot of seasonal familys that come every weekend and it makes you feel like a kid at sleep away camp. The staff are the nicest people. We stayed one night during the week on our way and they were so excited to have a family during the week they made it extra special for my kids. We will definitely be back, I have nothing bad to say about this place :)

I’m a retired U.S. Navy Veteran. I believe this is bad treatment for U.S. Veterans. We should be treated to veteran prices. If I could give this campground a negative number I would. We came to NY from VA. I wanted to visit my sister who has a seasonal Site. I arrived with my wife and son at 6pm. We were only going to Visit for a couple of hours. They were trying to charge me $10 per person. That is definitely robbing us. That would’ve cost $30 for a couple of hours. For what? I looked around and the campsites were in a parking lot. I was looking to see if I should purchase a seasonal, but not now after this treatment.

Great family camping site. We were visitors for their annual car show. Took ride around camp and all looked like they were having fun.

Grounds are well kept, clean shower/bathrooms, and a TON of activities to keep families with kids well occupied. Yeah, it seemed a crowded on the weekend and majority seasonal RV’ers, but we didn’t get an unfriendly vibe like we’ve experienced at other campgrounds. Would have loved a pool, but the lake is nice. Might want water shoes if you’re not a lake person. Well-stocked camp store, a food truck, dog-friendly, hiking trails… we could stay a week and never be bored. What truly makes this campground special are the workers. From the guy at the gate, the pleasant desk staff, the escort to our site who ensured we were good to hook up before we left (not just a circle on a map,) to the “lady of the lake,” Susan and her amazing life guard crew. I hope the staff is as taken care of as they take care of Wabeeka’s guests.

Wonderful campground! We stayed in a tent in the seclusion section with no power! The bathrooms were close by and do have plugs and there is running water. The lake is a little mucky but they have a huge blow up toy in the middle that is fantastic and the water near it is clean. Also a water slide near the playground. Staff and fellow campers were so friendly. Would highly recommend to everyone!
