I had a wonderful experience at Waves End. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to help me enjoy my time there. I had a dog pass away while there and they were very comforting. The views from the campground are wonderful. It has easy access to the beach and to The Cabot Trail and other locations. I will return to this campground

What a beautiful location ! Super friendly hosts, ice cream to purchase as you check in, and we were escorted to our site ! Stunning views of the sunset and super flat sites. Easy hook ups too. Very well-maintained camp, and with a great beach to enjoy as well !

Amazing place. Very clean. I would recommend this place. Geodome may not be suitable for people who like to sleep in silence, it is quite noisy at night. They have free wifi in the area closer to the office, but unfortunately there is no internet in the geodome.

Overall great camp for a night, very clean bathrooms, ocean front sites have wonderful sunset view and privacy. There are absolutely no privacy on other sites, no trees ,no shade, so when it's hot nowhere to hide.

The best ocean view in the house. The view of endless sunsets and sparkling nights was breathtaking. Jason greeted me at the park when we first arrived, and I assumed he was the owner. He led the way to our sites. The park itself was extremely well-kept and clean. The cleanliness of the restroom amazed me; it was on a whole new level. I suggest that everyone who visits Cape Breton to stay here. Without a doubt, I will be back.

The Waves End Campground has a unique location along the ocean to see a perfect sunrise and sunset. I tented one night there during my trip around NS, and it was amazing!

First the good points: the facilities are all new. The bathrooms were spotlessly clean. The RV sites had water and electrical hookup. The campground is above the ocean and offers spectacular views , especially at sunrise or sunset. The staff were helpful and friendly. Now the not so good: The campground is very new and is basically a grass and gravel parking lot. There is not a tree to be found in the campground, everything is wide open. The rates charged are at high season rates yet I camped there in the first week of October. The cost for a single night was , with taxes over $65. Comparable rates on Cape Breton are around $42 for this time of year, and for better services. And on top of this , although they have a sanitary waste dump, if you stay only one night they charge an extra $20 to dump your waste. And the water, although they say it is potable, smells like rotten eggs and has a yellowish colour to it. We had to flush out our water tank at the next campground. I would not recommend this campground until they fix a few of these things.

Scott's hospitality is over the top!!! He will escort you to your site and troubleshoot any issue you have. The view and walk down to the shore is stunning. Sunsets here are incredible - a true little paradise. The campground has a new and very clean washroom facility with showers. There's a fire pit at each site. We chose to basecamp here and drive around the cape, lunching and dining at fantastic restaurants. I will definitely come back in July!!! Thanks, Scott!!!!

Such a great place to stay while visiting Cabot Trail. We had best sunsets here on a pebble beach and ocean! Owners are great and very helpful. New and clean showers. Thank you for having us! We will come back for sure :)

AMAZING! On our drive back from the Cabot Trail we needed a place to stay the night and figured we can just sleep in our car. We spoke to the guys at waves end and could not be happier with the outcome. The guys are very friendly, helpful and informative. The prices are great and the firewood bundles and very well priced and comes with kindling. The washrooms and showers are great, more clean than most hotels and motels to be honest. The shower was hot, great pressure just all round perfect. The campsite is beautiful, we were given a site near the end and the subset view was perfect. The sun sets right in front of the campvround. We made a fire, had drinks and watched the sunset. This campground made our Cabot Trail experience amazing! Highly recommended
