Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

The primary draw is the proximity to Canada’s famous waterfall park. A short drive leads to the iconic Helmcken Falls, which is three times the height of Niagara Falls, and the dramatic basalt cliffs of Spahats Creek Falls. Outdoor enthusiasts can spend their days hiking through ancient forests or booking a whitewater rafting tour on the Clearwater River. For those staying on-site, the golf course offers a relaxing way to spend an afternoon while enjoying the fresh mountain air and local wildlife sightings.

Who This Park Is Best For

This destination is ideal for nature lovers and waterfall chasers who want to be as close to the provincial park entrance as possible. It is a fantastic choice for golfers who appreciate the convenience of walking from their RV door straight to the first tee. Families and couples looking for a rustic yet comfortable basecamp will find the quiet nights and scenic surroundings highly appealing. It is best suited for those who value natural beauty and outdoor activity over high-density urban resort features.

Such a lovely hidden gem! Course is stellar, staff is welcoming & well informed, shower houses are always clean and well maintained! Love that the campsites border the creek flowing through, and how close the location is to all of the waterfalls nearby! Highly recommend renting out the sauna & following up with a cold plunge after a long day of wicked golf.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this Golf & RV Resort! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The RV sites were spacious, clean, and well maintained, with all the hookups you could possibly need. The golf course was in excellent condition—beautiful greens, stunning views, and a layout that’s both fun and challenging for all skill levels. It was the highlight of our trip! We also loved the amenities—peaceful surroundings, easy access to walking trails, water falls and plenty of activities to keep us entertained. The whole property is clearly cared for with pride, and it shows in every detail. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway that combines top-notch RV facilities with a gorgeous golf experience, this resort is second to none. We can’t wait to come back!

We stayed at this camp resort over the August long weekend and had an amazing time. The location is hard to beat — nestled near a beautiful waterfalls with plenty of hiking trails right at your doorstep. The nearby stream was a perfect spot to relax and cool off after a day of exploring. The resort itself is well-maintained, with a nice golf course that added a fun change of pace. Everything felt peaceful yet full of options for adventure. A special shout-out to the camp host, Rob — he went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Friendly, helpful, and always around if we had questions.

It’s a solid 3 that we would stay at again. The site is more rustic than we expected from the pictures and could do with a little TLC. With that said most of the campsites have accessibility to the creek right at your site. Great for an afternoon sit n chill. Great value for spot. Accessibility to the parks is great! Seen lots of reviews with comments of bathrooms being clean etc and unfortunately that was not our experience. I even attempted different times of day to see if it was my schedule. I’d recommend using your own units shower if able. The cleaning supplies shown in the picture were still there from the evening before.

A True Slice of Heaven in Wells Gray. My husband, 6-month-old baby, and I recently stayed at this RV resort in the heart of Wells Gray Provincial Park, and it truly felt like a slice of heaven. The amenities were spotless—the bathroom and shower house were always clean and comfortable, which made a big difference traveling with a little one. The whole resort is very kid-friendly and peaceful, with a beautiful creek running through the property and a small, warm, clean lake perfect for swimming. We spent time on the lush, green 9-hole golf course, spotting wildlife and soaking in the natural beauty. One of the unexpected highlights was meeting campers from all around the world, such a fun and welcoming vibe. But what really stood out to us was the incredible staff. You can tell they pour their heart into making the resort such a special place. We felt so cared for and at home. Can’t wait to come back and make more memories
