A little hidden camping gem between Kanata and Ottawa. Lots of neat hiking and biking trails, especially if you go thru the tunnel beside the railway down by the equestrian center. Camp sites have good separation, plus there are ready to camp cabins available as well.

Wesley Clover is a campground in Kanata. We stayed there in October. The campsite was very nice and our site had some privacy and was close to the washroom/showers. The shower had hot water but the shower space needed some maintenance and could have been cleaner. The toilets and sinks were very clean. There is some traffic noise that can be heard while camping as the park is close to major roadways. Overall it is a very nice location and is very close to amenities in Kanata/Ottawa.

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend away. It was perfect. Beautiful site, close to ottawa, very very quiet. We had a great stay and will be back. The only thing as mentioned above the bathrooms were very filthy... And the store ONLY sold drinks? It was a huge office with potential. There was an ice cream freezer but it only had ice in it., they didnt even sell bags of chips or anything which I found odd. But knowing these minor things we xam prepare better for our next trip at wesley clover

Very lovely, went with some friends we had a great time. This other camping site not to us, was flashing us with a gaint flash light hung in top of their tent, but aside from that. It was a fun and I would totally do it again.

Sites are well shaded in back sections and spacious for a couple tents or medium campers/trailers. Campground doesn't let you bring in your own wood to protect their forest, which is understandable but then charging 13$ a bag? Similar size bag is 12$ Ar gas stations which are always with inflated prices to begin with. Bathrooms blocks leave much to be desired. It's not a prov park with the extra funding of course but at least stall locks that function and other parts in disrepair. Showers are getting old, good pressure but not cleanest. Noise levels were overall good. Didn't notice anything get of hand. Laundromat is well maintained and clean. Access to nearby bike and walking trails. Very close to highway so some noise pollution from but mostly becomes white noise once there for a while.

We went for the Christmas Lights event and our 3yo old loved it. Was a great experience - worth the entrance fee and more!

This is a very nice private campground. What doesn't make sense is how they close up at 6 PM which we experienced on September 28 and why they take a $50 deposit. Apparently one simply turns away and tries to find something else as no one is available, nor is there any number to call. Every KOA and most other private campgrounds have an after-hours number for exceptional cases. There was another retired couple who arrived shortly after 6 also looking quite confused about what to do next. This approach of locking the grounds at 6PM is too heavy handed and very poor customer service, especially since they also take a deposit which I've never seen before. I'd suggest the operators take a more flexible approach and do more to accommodate their guests.

Great place. Nice for kids. We saw some fox and raccoons in the forest. Bathroom is close to the camping site, sure it needs some love but it's not a big deal. The personal is very attentive. In my last day there, labor Day, my tire was flat and they helped me.

2 stars because it was quiet and peaceful (but even that goes to the other campers, not the site itself. We could hear the 417, but not so loud that it disturbed us. The ground was too hard to peg the tent down and there were rocks galore everywhere. The sites l, except for the odd one, are small (we were on a tent site, RV sites might be different). The bathroom was very dirty. I was hoping this was going to be a good place for our 3 young kids, but it was not at all. The sprinkler pad is run down and basically useless. The playground isn't bad but is missing a rope for one of the climbing walls and only has 2 giant baby swings and no others. Overall, we were not impressed.

My sister and her family camped here for a week while visiting Ottawa. They camp quite a bit around the province and said this was one of the nicest for-profit campgrounds they've been to. We visited for an evening and it looked lovely. Plenty of tree cover. The facilities are clean and in great shape. There's a small, old playground that the kids enjoyed. A great campground considering how close it is to city centre.
