Place is very nice clean and campsites are beautiful. But then walked into bathroom toilet running won't shut off. And urinal is nasty on wall. The John door is half off and showers look like you might catch something using them. Can't understand why they keep everything nice then let the bathrooms go so bad. State parks are cleaner and cheaper.

I rode down to checkout the campground. I had reserved the BEST campsite (where by bike is at) only to learn I made a reservation at the wrong Campground that weekend! Lol. Other than that it's a beautiful campground!! I even like that they cleared out a spot to launch kayaks! That site is Redfox #23. 😉

What an amazing park! Loved staying here! Wish we could have stayed longer. The lake was awesome! Great boat launch, and the fish were biting! The camp sites were well maintained and as well as the grounds. The park store had everything you would need if you forgot something at home. The park staff were super nice and accommodating. If you’re in the area and looking for a place to camp, it doesn’t get much better than this 😊👍

Heard about this place online and I’m glad that I took the time to visit had a good time while here enjoyed the beach and the zipline at the park will be back for sure.

Don’t count on getting your spot that you booked online. We’ve booked an RV spot here and they thought it was a good idea to let somebody else check into it and made us go to the spot that those people didn’t want and now we don’t have any water for the weekend because we didn’t bring an extra hose that this site requires Thanks a lot azzholez

Came here to watch the solar eclipse. The park is very nice and well kept. There's plenty of open space for picnics as well as campsites, pavillions, publuc restrooms, and boat ramps. Admission is also very reasonable at only $8 per vehicle.

I used to camp here as a kid in the early 2000s. WOW this place has gotten huge, everyone is still very friendly. We arrived 1 or 2 days after the Memorial day storms in 2024. They posted to not make new reservations due to cleanup, but we didn't see this until we were leveled and ready for bed! It was still an awesome experience. It will continue to be a southern Indiana stop for me and the family.

They put on a decent firework display every year. The park itself is large with lots of hiking & biking trails. The lake has a small beach and a swimming area. There are 2 playgrounds here, one is fairly small but the other is a very nice playground. It has a small zip line, plenty of slides, etc. They have 2 tennis courts, 1 basketball court, and a 18 hole Disc Golf course. There are at least 2 large picnic areas with several tables, and also some benches and tables scattered throughout the park. There is one building in the park with public showers and restrooms.
