West Glacier RV Park is an absolute winner! From the moment we pulled in, it was clear this place is clean and incredibly well-kept. The utility hookups were perfect—no wrestling with power or water, which is always a pleasant surprise after a day of driving. This site also has the best wifi that I've ever encountered in Montana. I was getting 75mb up and down. The staff was super friendly and helpful, which just adds to the relaxed Glacier vibe. And for anyone worried about the wilderness neighbors, let me just say: these folks take security seriously. Every trash dumpster is brilliantly bear-proofed! It seems a bear's biggest nightly workout is trying to defeat that cleverly designed latch—our dinner scraps were perfectly safe. The bathrooms and showers were also pretty well maintained—a clean and welcome relief after long hikes. If you're looking for a top-notch, worry-free basecamp for exploring Glacier National Park, this is it.

Large, spacious sites. Grass between sites is very nice. Well laid out, very clean. Excellent bathrooms/shower houses. 5 minutes from park entrance, even shorter walk, bike ride into West Glacier. In my opinion, there is no better place to stay to explore Glacier.

We stayed in an RV spot July 2025; me, my wife, and our three teenage kids. It seems like the bad reviews are from 2+ years ago - I didn't know the park then, but now its great. Perfect location in West Glacier. Clean bath houses. Large, well maintained RV spot. The place is quiet and restful. They keep the sites well-lit enough to see when you need a little light but dark enough at night to see the Milky Way! The store is small and well-stocked with fire wood, beer, basic camping essentials, souvenirs, and other basic needs. We would definitely stay there again.

I believe when a good review is earned it should be given. We’ve stayed at a lot of RV parks on our journeys and this is by far one of the nicest. Very large spaces both length and width. Nicely stocked store. Great and friendly service. You can walk to the river, into the park or into the small town for breakfast. There is even a really nice golf course at the end of the road. We’ve spent 14 days here and have enjoyed it immensely. This will be the park we stay at for all our future visits to Glacier.

The convenience factor of this rv park/campground for us was plus plus plus… located just outside the west gate of glacier park, there is a laundry facility right behind the office, there’s a small store for incidentals and souvenirs (they had wine too!) … the sites are SPACIOUS, grassy, and easy to navigate. The hookups were very easy to access…. There are fire pits and picnic tables at every site … nice views (it’s kind of nestled in at the bottom) and there’s a train that runs every once in a while (I personally love trains and love hearing them go by!) staff in office were super helpful and kind. Loved our stay here (extended by two days because we didn’t want to leave!) and would one hundred percent come back.

We stayed at West Glacier RV Park & Cabins twice, few years ago. Overall, we liked how clean the park was and the proximity to Glacier National Park. We had a pull through site for a class A motorhome and it was pretty spacious. The fireplace was nice add on. Our kids enjoyed the playground and the ability to bike to the nearby ice cream parlor. The staff was friendly, welcoming and very accommodating, willing to assist and answer any questions about the park and the area in general. Such a great place and we definitely recommend it to anyone regardless if you stay at the RV sites or the Cabins.

We stayed in cabin 117 and it was delightful! So clean and homey. Nicely stocked kitchen with a full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, and a two burner electric cook top. Great towels and bed sheets. Living area with a sofa and TV, and a dining area with a table and floor chairs. Bathroom is small, but perfectly adequate. Covered front porch with a small gas grill. Perfect for enjoying the cool autumn evenings. Highly recommended!

Great spot for big rigs. The sites are big - both wide and long and level gravel. There is some spotty grass between sites. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Two good size and very grassy dog parks. The office and camp store is well stocked. The location is excellent for access to Glacier west entrance and walking distance to the West Glacier Village. There is train noise at regular intervals all night and the reason for 4 stars and not 5.

I wasn’t expecting to be wowed by this RV Park but I was indeed. The reviews all mentioned the newness and lack of trees and shrubbery but they failed to mention that it specifically enhances your views of these incredible mountains and forests. The spaces are so wide, with beautiful grassy areas in between and the campground is so child friendly but it is also amazingly quiet. The extensive play area is conveniently located away from the majority of the spots and it helps to maintain the peaceful atmosphere. Location, Location, Location- you are 5-10 minutes walk outside of the town of West Glacier with food and live entertainment available and less than 10 minutes to the park gate. Truly the best part of the stay is the service and cleanliness of the facility. The staff are terrifically friendly and the multiple bath houses and grounds are impeccable. Do yourself a favor and stay at the West Glacier RV Park on your next visit. You’ll be glad you did.

First the location relative to the West entrance to the park is amazing! Pads are great and enough space between camp sites. We had a 39’ travel trailer and there was plenty of room. Water pressure and electric were good. Looks pretty new so landscaping is small but it’s there and growing but no shade. Bathrooms were really clean and nice. Shop was well stocked and had super friendly staff. Close to put put and restaurants. Loved it.

Full hook up right outside the Glacier National Park! Only thing was they were working on the irrigation lines in the pavement but had it done by the time we left. Good camping for exploring the park. Very short distance from the park entrance . Easy walk or bike ride to snack shops, restaurants, and small grocery store. I did get to ride my bike one day but the rain hindered me the other days.

We had a wonderful stay at this park. The location is unmatched! Clean and friendly staff. The office doesn’t really have a whole lot of supplies or groceries, but there is a grocery around the corner. It would have been nice if there was a Concierge service where guests could ask park/trail questions. All in all a great place that we enjoyed!

We've stayed at a lot of RV parks and this one is the best yet. It is incredibly close to Glacier National Park. It is immaculately clean. The bath houses are distributed wonderfully so no one has to walk far to use them. The park is right next to West Glacier which is a nice little town. The spaces are huge and level. I could go on and on. It is an expensive park, but I would say well worth it for the proximity to the NP and the facilities. Also, there is no shade now, but they have planted a lot of trees so eventually every spot should be shady. This wouldn't be such an issue if we weren't here during the summer of the heat domes! All in all, this is an absolutely top notch RV park.

We spent 2 nights in a cabin here and loved it! We weren't planning on cooking in the cabin, but we could have as it had everything we would have needed - even had a dishwasher. It was nice having a microwave and a full size refrigerator. The bedroom was a little tight - not much space around the bed - but the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small, too, but still had ample room to leave our travel bags. Great location! It was only a short walk to the village with stores, cafe, etc. A very short distance to Glacier National Park. We were very happy with everything and would stay here again if we return to Glacier.
