Great price and wonderful location! Beautiful lake. Ufo documentted sighting in the late 1960s Lake is 3000 ft deep made from a crater. Great diving site .

Beautiful Beach . Campground is wide open no trees between campers . The grey and black water connection for full service seems to be missing a ring so almost constant septic smell leaking out. As you are sitting about 20 ft away it’s a bit stinky. I packed mine with a garbage bag to fill in the opening and covered it with a garbage bag. Mine is better but the neighbours not so much .

Great spot for camping! WEST HAWK CAMPING offers beautiful nature, a clean campground, and easy access to the lake. It felt cozy, and the kids had a blast. Highly recommended!

Cons - Trails closed and no camp fire allowed due to wildfire Pros - 1. Many dates available - book today leaving tomorrow 2. main beach is chill, not so crowded, traffic from Winnipeg is light 3. Weather is great in early June 4. No mosquitoes

During our cross canada-trip in our motorhome, this has been our favourite stop so far! We stayed for a week and a half, the campground is very clean and well maintenced, there was a water break one morning that affected all the water in the campground and they had it fixed within 30 minutes! The showers are a lot cleaner than a lot of other ones we've been to. The beach in the campground is absolutely beautiful, sandy and sunny and the bay is a good shelter from the wind. The water is so clean and clear too, and it's a great lake for paddle boarding or kayaking. There was no rowdy campers, definitely a family friendly park and there is 3 different stores all walking distance from the campground, and a 24 hour laundromat. And a nice hiking trail right in the campground teaching hikers about the meteor and the lake. Awesome place, we will be back!

This is a beautiful campground near West Hawk lake. There are playground, you can do scuba diving, swim in the lake. But water even in a very hot days will be refreshing. Close to it a short trail with a lot of scenic views.The one big minus here that at night in the tent you can hear the car's noise from the highway 1 and some sites are not flat.

Nice place, clean but crowded. There are better camping camps out there where you'll have more space and better spots. We had to battle with the trailer to get it levelled. Showers are nice and clean, beaches are awesome

West Hawk Lake was an awesome experience, my family enjoyed every minute of the day. The swimming, scenery, fun places,weather was second to none. I plan to sneak back soon.

I enjoy camping at West Hawk about once a year. Great facilities including a new shower house, surrounded by the lake so easy access to beaches (Miller Beach is my favourite and least crowded), and a highly recommended scenic hike high up above the sites (Dragon Fire Self-Guiding Trail). This campground is always packed and usually has a loud party-like atmosphere; the openness of almost all the sites contributes to this. Park Patrol walks around at least twice a day, and a wood truck comes around in the evening too so you don't need to go out.
