Westerly RV Park

We stayed here during the Fourth of July weekend, when absolutely everything in the area was fully booked. Due to the wildfires, many public camping areas were also unavailable, making it even more difficult to find a place to stay. The day before our arrival, I decided to try my luck and contacted Westerly. Carrie replied almost immediately and let us know they had a spot available for us. She even took our reservation without requiring a deposit, simply trusting our word. The following day, she remained incredibly attentive as I updated her about our arrival time and was there waiting to welcome us personally. The RV park itself is small, very well maintained, and peaceful. It is important to note that there are no bathrooms or showers, but for RV travelers this is not an issue since the sites have full hookups. The location is beautiful. The Durango & Silverton train passes right nearby, which adds so much charm to the experience, and there is also a large grocery store just a short walk away, making it very convenient. Overall, the park felt intimate, private, beautiful, and surrounded by nature. A special thank you to Carrie for her exceptional hospitality and attention. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to other RV travelers.

Nice RV Park. Durango Hot Springs across the road on one side, and a nice upscale market, a hardware store and a liquor store across the road on the other side. Great shade trees, full hookups. Everything you could want.

Very nice, quiet, clean, large sites with trees. The owners are outstanding and helpful. Prices are very reasonable.

North of town, a bit of a drive. Not fancy, but clean, convenient, and full hookups. Trees and grass with gravel drives and pads. Level and easy setup. Stayed here multiple times!

The park is so dark and scary to forget something outside your rig ,we stayed two days the first day the Wi-Fi was perfect the second day was 0 Wi-Fi I called the manager she said because everyone is using the Wi-Fi I was awake with toothache and kept trying the damn Wi-Fi every 30mnts until 8am obviously it was turned off and she was lying , not a good experience

Perfect launch location for activities in Durango and Silverton. The park is located directly across the street from the hot spring and spa, and a very nice grocery, and hardware store are across the highway. The park layout is a bit untraditional as some sites require motor coaches to pull in forward which places your door facing your neighbor if they are in a trailer. Fortunately we had a very nice gentleman next to us. Laundry was great, and there is also a television, DVD assortment, and small library present. Highway noise is present during the day, but quickly quiets down after dark. The sites would benefit from more frequent manicuring of the grass and small branches. Overall, staff was great and it was a good experience.

This is our second stay at this RV park. We love it here. It is right across the street from Durango hot springs and is e bike close to downtown. Carrie took great care of us!

Stayed 4 nights. The place was overgrown with weeds. Never ever saw any staff. We were sent our site info by email. Our rig faced two other rigs, and they opened up onto us as well. No privacy, so we didnt sit out. We had no picnic table. Everyone else did. The wifi went in and out constantly. Good thing we were on the go. I would not recommend. The only positive was it was directly across the street from Durango Hot Springs.

We stayed here at the WYLD Glass Caves. This unit is located in the RV park. It is across the street from the Durango Hot Springs and Spa. We stayed in the Queen-sized unit. I don’t recommend it.The King-size is the one to rent because it has more space. For the money, you can rent a much bigger space in an area bed and breakfast or inn. While I love the modern look of the interiors the lack of space to put anything down is rough. Also there isn’t any water pressure and the wifi is slow.

Our summer here in Durango has been amazing. We’ve stayed at Westerly for weeks on and off again and keep coming back because its location is so damn convenient. We have the Hot Springs within 50 feet. There’s an ACE hardware and a grocery store right across the road. And an easy 10 minute drive to downtown Durango or 15 minutes to Purgatory. Fun people, nice staff, lots of regulars. Do yourself a favor and book your next RV/travel trailer trip here.

Epic views only got a short period of time to stay, but without a doubt will be back. Family ran operation and it shows they treat you with the utmost respect. Brian and Katy take pride, thank y'all for everything.

Great RV park on the north side of Durango. Staff is helpful and great to work with. Very quiet park and clean park with a hot spring/pool resort across the street. Great view of the mountains and you can hear and see the Durango Train coming by. 15 minutes gets you back into the city!
