We were downsizing from a home in area. We were rookies, from day one the management has always been there. We moved due to health onto our lots recently. The storage spaces so handy right here & didn't flood as others in area did. Almost 7 years. West side hospitals, shopping all close. Thanks Westlake RV resort. Doug + Sarah

We stayed here while visiting friends in Katy. The sites are very nice. Paved and level. The park is quiet for the most part especially at night. However the word "resort" in the name is a bit misleading. Yes there is a pool and a hot tub neither we used, but this place is more a full time long term rv park. Its a good convenient place to stay but not a resort in my opinion.

Terrific campground conveniently located off of I-10 (but not too close) in Katy, TX. Beautifully maintained place for our 2-night stay. All paved roads and level sites and patio areas with good spacing and room to easily navigate. Our site backed-up to the lake, which was nice and serene. Easy hook-ups, fast Wifi. Great amenities for those staying for a while. Rules enforced for long-term seasonal campers. We're looking forward to a return stay to visit family (even if it means fighting Houston's notoriously bad traffic).

We got into RV life to try a different lifestyle, one of more connection and fluidity. We lived at the Westlake RV Resort for just over 6 months, and we couldn’t have picked a better RV park to experience that in. If your home is where you park it - it’d do you good to park it right here! The facility itself is always clean and well kept by the staff, including even the lawn sections of each site. The few maintenance issues that happened while we stayed there (like a water outage) were always addressed quickly and usually fixed within a day, during which time Eric (the manager) was communicating to keep everyone in the loop on what to expect. There were also clear guidelines on how to keep your site clean and orderly, so regardless of where you were in the park the whole place felt homey! My personal favorite aspect of this place is the atmosphere. The main clubhouse room is always decorated to match whatever holiday is happening, even playing specific music. They host parties for the community, like their Fourth of July grill out. At the start of school, they had school supplies available at the front desk for whoever’s children might need them in the community. They even bring in food trucks on some nights, letting them park for the night in a vacant spot so all us residents could get a taste of something new! Eric, and everyone I met on his team - April, Deanna, and Emily - carry a sense of hospitality! That is the special spark that sets this place apart from the rest. Though you can’t control who actually stays in the parking, who this team is and what they work to bring to life says it all. Many of us full-timers would sit outside or walk about in the evening and just talk to one another, like a glimpse of the “good old days” come back. When it was time to move back into a rental house, we were met with kindness, congratulations, and an assurance we’d be missed! The feeling is certainly mutual!

Me and my husband stayed here from November 2024 to May 2025. We have two boys and our small dog. We felt welcomed from the start. School bus picks up the kids right out front. Our lot was nicely spaced with a little grass, the landscaping is kept up nicely as well. We always felt safe in the gates here, (but be cautious anywhere you go.) The pool and rec area is always clean and pop corn and coffee available. Sometimes we took showers in the bathrooms here and they feel great; always well maintained. The old management that left was very helpful and the new management is just as helpful too. In the office they are wonderful always making sure we get our packages and helpful with any concerns we had. The storage area is well secured and some one is always available in the office or on the phone. We are storing our RV here now until it’s sold and they have been so helpful with that too. A special big thanks to Eric and his crew at WestLake Rv Resort! You guys are awesome.
