We hiked about 4 miles, explored an old tobacco barn, and made it to the overlook for a gorgeous view of the Missouri River. Such a great spot! Plenty of parking, pretty busy when we went (perfect fall day), and super dog-friendly (leashed pups). They even have a dog park with three separate sections! Highly recommend visiting in the fall.

Well kept park with nice, wooded trails. Some are paved and some natural. Plenty of picnic tables with grills. Nice shaded areas. Play areas for children. The campground is first rated with good shade.

We felt like we had some privacy with our site being very spacious. The paved trails are beautiful and even though they did seem to have a lot of people using them (not all campers, but locals also) they were all very friendly and courteous. The train tracks close by were neat and the location in between 2 nice towns was perfect for us. It was very dog friendly too. They do have construction going on, but still a great place to stay. We loved the old time feel of the area. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful gem! Too bad we can't ride horses there, but the walking trails and overlook were beautiful!

This is a really nice park. We stayed 4 nights in the campground. The camp hosts were the best we've ever encountered. They were very helpful to us "rookie" travel trailer people. They took great delight in helping anyone needing assistance. I learned a lot from them. The trails are great and well maintained. The 2.75 mile paved trail is a bit rough and very hilly. It is well worth going on. I highly recommend this park!

We only walked the Weston Bluff Trail along the river and railroad tracks, but the trail was very easy, low incline and the nature was beautiful! It was pretty low traffic, wide gravel trail, and very clean! Would be a great walk with our kids to just get out in nature.

My wife and I went to the lookout point. Very pretty views! Then we walked the Westridge Trail. It's around 2.4 miles. It gets steep towards the end, but it's a nice workout!

It's well maintained clean and plenty of parking. But overall it was small and over crowded (not their fault it was the first cooler fall days so that's probably why) I wouldn't recommend if you were looking to just do a fall leaf peeping drive. The scenic overlook was nice but nothing to write home about. We didn't explore or hike the trails so I can't provide feedback.
