What a cute little campground! Don't let those negative reviews steer you away from this place. Go ahead and book, you will like it! I was skeptical but im glad I didnt pay attention! The owners are the kindest people, happy to support them. The grounds are quaint, well kept, but also veey simple. I'll get to the bathroom comments right away, THEY ARE FINE....older, but clean! They serve the purpse if you want to use them! Some sites on the right side have more trees, the sites on the left are more open, a field type setting. Most sites are level, some are not, but that is the case with any camping areas. Im sure they would let you move around to another site if they have the availability! Some sites have more gravel than others but none seem mud or bare dirt. There were a lot of big rigs in here, so accessibility and ability to maneuver is ample good! Its minutes to the amazing little town of Bardstown and close to the Bourbon trails! Yes go ahead and book...unless you are a prima-donna who only likes RV resorts and doesn't enjoy camping!

Campground has had no water for 3 days. They placed us and others on campsites that we did not reserve, due to they gave our reserved site for months ahead to a complaining camper. So dysfunctional group to run a campground. Ask for picnic table so we could eat outside. So far after many hours no table and shed had several. Do not come here.

Giving a two because it was quiet. Grass was overgrown and weeds were very tall. Our site was extremely unlevel and was just grass. I think if we had been able to be in the other side it would have been so much nicer. We won't go back.

We came in late and some other camper was in our campsite. It was dark and difficult to see the site numbers. One part of the campground road had some ruts, see picture below. Part of the roads were paved, some gravel, and some dirt. Some of the pads were hard to see due to lack of gravel. I liked that most of the sites were pull through. Half of the campground was shady and the other half full sun. I liked the location the nearby town had a historic character and a nearby Walmart. The bathrooms were not great. No doors for the bathroom stalls but shower curtains. It was clean though and well stocked. The white barn picture is the bathroom fyi. The place was popular and many campers were coming and going. Everybody was respectful of the quiet time hours. I would camp here again if in the area.

It is a 5 star for being so close to Bardstown. The bathrooms are a little far from the sites and in need of work (we used our own). Otherwise, the sites were adequate. The sites are gravel but most are overgrown with grass. I think the owner/manager is trying to make some improvements. He is very nice and accommodating. There was a mix up and we didn't get the site that we had reserved. He told us that if we didn't like the new site he would gladly give us our money back and I actually think the new site was a better choice. It was also quiet.
