Didn't stay in the rooms we had are 5th wheel but the bathroom were spotless. The mountain views were like no other especially since it was fall at peak season. The workers where very helpful on pointing out places of interest. Nice location for a ton of activities. Can't wait to go back. Thank you again for having us

Nice rustic campground. Nice pool and play area for kids. Forested. Roads and RV pads are dirt and uneven with some parts of road narrowed by trees. A Class would have difficulty but the have an area for larger rigs. Sites well spaced and private. Lots of green grass areas for tenters. Nothing within walking distance but plenty of walking to do within park.

Great campground with a ton of amenities, especially for kids. Big rig friendly sites available. Owners were very nice. I used the laundry, but never the public restrooms. Pool was clean, sites all had a picnic table and a fireplace. Ours was made of mountain rocks which was awesome. Great hiking trails out the backside of the campground. Minutes to the Mount Washington Auto Road and all the hiking trails you could desire. What we enjoyed most was waking up to the mountain views. Would recommend

Our stay at White Birches Campground was extremely disappointing. We arrived at 9:10 PM—well before their 9:30 PM check-in cutoff—with our 43ft 5th wheel, which the owners were fully aware of. The pull-through site was unlit, tight, and poorly prepared. A picnic table had been placed too close to the entrance and was clipped during setup. A neighboring camper helped us move it and confirmed the site was difficult to navigate. Shortly after unhooking, we had to rush our son to the ER for a hand injury. Our teen stayed behind to finish setup. The next morning, just after 8 AM, the owner, Bob, knocked loudly on our door and immediately accused us of trying to hide the table damage—despite the office being closed when it happened and our intention to report it. We had already repaired the table, yet Bob remained hostile and insisted we pay a $50 fee. He even approached our neighbors after we left for the day to "verify" our story—who told him exactly what we had already explained. Later that day, my husband used his gate card to enter the campground with a friend visiting our site. After dropping her off, he left to run to the store—only to return and find his gate card had been disabled. He was locked out of the campground and unable to rejoin his family until our guest came down to register. Locking a paying guest out over an unregistered visitor and a $10 fee is not only excessive, it’s unprofessional and unacceptable. Overall, we felt disrespected, micromanaged, and unwelcome. Based on both our experience and similar reviews, it’s clear non-seasonal or out-of-state guests are not treated equally. We will not return and do not recommend this campground.

Nice campground. I was at #57 and it was level. Sort of a confusing layout but there is plenty of room between sites. All sites and roads are dirt mixed with gravel, but I saw staff working to keep roads smooth. Most of the facilities show wear but the cleaning staff keep them immaculate. Verizon service is unusable and the wi-fi is so poor that I was without connectivity. Fortunately, the town of Gorham is minutes away and has decent Verizon service. The office staff are friendly, patient, and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Pit stop between Adirondacks and Acadia. Had everything we needed to reset - propane, laundry, showers & electricity. And a really great site in the woods! I would stay again.

Stayed at white birches for a couple weeks during September hunting season. Rented a nice little Adirondack shelter was perfect. Staff and management were friendly and hospitable. Facility was clean and quiet. Would highly recommend staying there. I didn't have any of my children with me this trip but would have been great for kids or families lots of activities for little ones. 5 stars

A family owned campground. Helpful, and friendly service. Beautiful grounds with a variety of sites to choose from, to provide the experience you want. Located about 10 mins from Mt Washington. They have a hiking trail right in the camp ground that leads to a beautiful stream and waterfalls. Definitely will be back and recommend checking them out.

Perfect campsite for what we needed. I selected a campsite near the bathroom house towards the back. My RV site ended up perfect to set up a tent. The site was nice and level to pitch a tent. I wish the back bathroom house had a shower though. Most sites towards the back in the trees were spacious.

Nothing terribly wrong with the facilities (although campground roads are a bit rough). But after spending a full week in the campground I can honestly say the staff knows how to make guests feel unwelcome. I experienced and witnessed several instances where guests were treated like children for resonable misunderstandings. On one instance, a staff member came into the pool and told one of the guests to “get out of the pool” after she broke one of the rules (I didn’t understand or see exactly what she did as I was swimming on the other end of the pool). After she asked if he was serious, he said “yes”, and then proceeded to tell EVERYONE the pool was closing immediately and they should get out. In short, all the small conflicts and random rule enforcement really ruined my experience. I don’t see myself ever returning to this campground.

We had a wonderful stay at this campground. Truthfully, I thought I had booked a different place that we had stayed in years ago and I didn’t realize my mistake until we pulled in. It turned out to be a great error on my part. We had a nice site in the open field with a beautiful view across the street of a mountain and the incredible foliage. Site wasn’t huge but very adequate. They do have some larger sites that are wooded and their tent sites are some of the nicest I’ve ever seen! The grounds are well kept and cared for. This is on the quieter side of the White Mountains yet convenient to shops and restaurants in Gorham. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Tent site was spacious and well kept. Showers and bathrooms were also in good condition, which when tent camping is a blessing. Communication between email and in person at the check in counter is a little inconsistent (being told one thing via email, and a different at the counter). The only gripe I had was their gate system (which was never explained on their website) where you are required to put a deposit down on a gate key otherwise you can't get back into the campground if you leave during your stay. Otherwise a decent place to spend a night or two if tent camping

Nice space with semi private campsites. A good majority of sites had RVs, cabins, or other permanent/enclosed structures. The layout of the campground definitely helped sound travel, so it was a bit loud during the night. The facilities are really great with showers (that cost a quarter), nice bathrooms, and stuff for kiddos to play on (pool, playground, and even a bouncy house). Great place to stay close to town and outdoor adventures.
