We arrived at 3:20 in the afternoon on a Tuesday and the office was CLOSED FOR THE REST OF THE DAY!!! That might have been fine if I had made a note of our campsite number OR if there had been cell service in the park so I could have pulled up my reservation email. What campground office closes for the day at 3:00 (or earlier?)??? We drove around through the campground looking for a park ranger or anyone who could help. We spotted a campsite with a sign that said “Host” and had a park ranger truck parked next to the camper in the site. I knocked loudly and got no response. Finally we found a spot where we could get a very faint cell signal and pulled up the confirmation. And once we knew the site number we were able to find it after much driving around and around. It was a very frustrating experience! Other than that, the site was nice, and the campground was sparsely populated and quiet. We were there to drive up Mt. Washington, and it’s nice that the campground is close to the auto road. By the way the Mt. Wash. auto road is privately operated (we had assumed it was a state thing) and cost $72 for the 2 of us! A lot more than we were expecting. They did give us a $10 off coupon for a meal at the nearby restaurant The Notch. So we had a yummy breakfast in a very nice restaurant for a good price the next morning.

Nice enough campground with sites tucked into the forest, however, pricey for what you get (or dont get). No camp store, and in 2 years of full time travel across the Country, I have NEVER had to pay for a shower at a State Park! And $10 for 14 minutes? Crazy. $44/night should include showers. Bathrooms were super clean

Me, my brother, and brother in law camped at Dolly Coop for 4 nights. We were in the Brook loop. The sites are spacious and level. They are spaced out nicely. You really don't hear or see your neighbors. The campground is very well kept. The bathrooms are large and very clean. There is access right in the park to many trails heading up to the Presidential range. I would highly recommend this campground.

Dolly Copp campground is a large, family-friendly campground with well maintained facilities (+ cleanest bathrooms i’ve yet to see at a campground!), access to a nice little river, fire pits + picnic tables at the camp sites. the campgrounds are very accessible with well-maintained roads. we enjoyed our stay, the friendly atmosphere, and would definitely go again!

Nice campgrounds, no cellular service though (Verizon), so, good to unplug. Beautiful surroundings. We hiked mt Washington and enjoyed river views by the campsite. A few catches: the showers are coin metered, so prepare some cash. The campsites themselves vary in sizes -- from a small site with no shade to spacious nicely shaded ones. We stayed in June in a tent and the bugs were minimal.
