Plenty of trails to walk, ride bikes or ride horses. You can take a trip down the river in a tube, kayak or canoe, fish or just hang out and watch the water flow. They've got a great playground for kids to play. Bathrooms at both ends of the park. Trees for shade or full sun if you want to tan. Primitive tent camping or full hookup. Something for everyone! Keep your dog on a leash and watch them closely, not all dogs who visit with their owners are friendly and unfortunately their owners aren't keeping them under control.

The campground is hands down one of the best in the state. The staff and parks have this place a 10/10 for cleanliness and operation. They Oversee and protect the grounds and people in it like family. The only issue here is all the entitled campers that think they own the place because they’ve been here a few times🙄Thinking they can make their own rules or that they are somehow better than everyone else. Other than that I would live here if we could. Thank you White river campground and staff!

What a beautiful nice, clean, and charming campground. And what an amazing price to stay at this place! We stayed for 2 nights on Wednesday & Thursday. Came in town for a concert at Ruoff music center and it was a perfect choice. Campground is only about 15-20 minutes away from the venue. The campground looked all NEW! Bath houses were updated - water pressure was great and water was HOT, roads nicely paved, beautiful front store, updated electricity and water hook ups. I liked how the dump site was in the middle of the campground. My kids played at the beautiful playground at the front and in the river in back of the campground and was perfect for putting your feet in! Campground was only about 40% full when we were there and I was told it was fully booked for the weekend. Only down side I can see is there are only 2 bath houses that I saw (one in the front and one in the back), only the one at the front has showers which I would think would be very crowded when the campground is fully booked. They could use another in the middle of the property.

What a great evening. First we went to the White River Campground on Wednesday when it was closed. The night guard allowed us in but couldn't expect card payments so we drove to get cash. Afterwards we were buzzed in and followed the path to check in. The campgrounds had nice facilities even though the restroom and showers were placed on opposite ends the facilities were nice and clean.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of the best primitive camping experiences I've had! I camped solo at White River Campground and felt completely safe the whole time. The lodge and facilities were immaculate and well cared for. It’s easy to find and get to, and the staff are fantastic—Hope was awesome and even helped me switch my site when I asked! For primitive campers, a tip: sites P5 and P6 are at the rear of the area and have some standing water nearby, so you’ll want to choose a spot on the river side for a better experience. If you are booking less than 24 hours in advance, please call as you will not be able to book online. Overall, I loved it and will absolutely be back. Sharing some photos so you can see just how great the place is! Additionally: The site is 100% Accessible if this is a concern.
