White Swan Park - Municipal Campground

White Swan Park - Municipal Campground is a small, lakeside campground right in Fraser Lake, making it convenient yet scenic. With only about 10 sites, it feels quiet and relaxed, and many spots are close to the water. The grassy sites are level, and there’s easy access to the beach, playground, and picnic areas, which makes it family-friendly. It’s simple—no frills—but well-kept, and the lake views are beautiful, especially at sunset. Perfect for a short stay or an overnight stop if you’re traveling Highway 16.

One of the best campgrounds in the region. Affordable, amazing views, and clean bathrooms. Would highly recommend it.

DEFINITELY WORTH THE STOP!!! Free camping area during the summer. If it's late fall, STOP because this is the Swan capital of the world, and they intentionally built the dock where the Swans swim. Absolutely beautiful here!!!! The park is along the lake shore. So no matter where you are at the park you can see the lake. They have a walking path along the whole lake that you can walk along with your dogs. There's even exercise equipment facing like lake view, like what??? Amazing! They have many benches, a picnic area with tables, a covered gazebo, flush toilets/sinks. A very large dock to walk on, also boat launch docks and a kayaking launch area. They also added lights at all thea parking areas and at the dock. In the winter, they create a skating rink and a fire pit and even supply wood for the local community. This is a very small town and community, and honestly, I am very impressed at how much they've poured into this park. It's always well maintained. They have so much to offer here.

Excellent campground with scenic views of lake and pier, as well as special amenities such as canoe rentals, a stage and outdoor exercise equipment. Bathrooms and a playground are also on site.

This is a wonderful surprise to find a campsite that has lots of room between sites, on the lakeshore, lots of walking paths, fishing, and available canoes and paddle boards. This is a community owned and operated site that shows very well on the local spirit. The park is well maintained and even has exercise equipment along the boardwalk. On top of all this it is free...the train track is nearby but that is expected throughout the valley.

Great spot for an overnight on the road (2 nights max). Free, no amenities except bathrooms. Gorgeous view, long level sites, easy to stay connected. Nice lake breeze. Walking around the park, beach access to swim, several pieces of outdoor exercise equipment. Kids playground. Super quiet, and then the one guy comes in and runs his generator 🙄.

Nice place. Could use more shade, but has covered picnic areas and there was a good breeze. Lots of people taking boats on and off the lake.

Wonderful place to walk, we go daily and walk our dogs. Enjoyed, watching the winter activities ice fishing, snow mobiling, hockey on the large rink cleared routinely. Beautiful waterfront, beautiful trails, very well take care of even with the current crisis, the little park road is plowed daily. The town takes excellent care of the maintenance of the area keeping it safe for everyone. The area itself is stunning, there is lots of parking and stations to get doggie bags along the way. Can't wait to see the swans coming back as Spring begins to warm and thaw the lake. 3/2021 Came up again on my feed to post here still loving to take my dogs here! Still a wonderful place even in Covid lockdown the rink has been plowed our wonderful community has pulled together during the pandemic to stay together while distancing. Everyone is doing their best to be safe and follow the covid guidelines while taking care of each other and watching over neighbors and friends elderly and newborns. A wonderful place to live now in our second year here. I can't begin to list all the wonderful ways its the best. The park is the most beautiful place ever, trails are maintained. People are out on snow mobiles atvs and skates! Walking dogs, and enjoying the winter while staying apart. My elderly chow who has a bit of adventure in her got out on the highway and was picked up and I found her through the community postings and was able to bring her home safely. We joke about how she was " headin' on the highway lookin' for adventure'. If not for this wonderful community I would never have found her. ( she was picked up 8 miles from home) and I picked her up at a home some 25 miles away. Thank you to everyone who kept her safe again. I can't imagine if I had lost her that day. Here are some more park pics taken in 2020 :)
